By divine desire, from his youth,/ he dedicated everything to himself to the Lord,/ in prayers and fasting, he became an image of virtue,/ wealth, and glory, and bodily goodness, as if they were not real, despising,/ and You loved Christ alone with all your heart,/ and He, the true essence of God, worshiped in the Trinity,/ before the wicked Turks you preached,/ and the Holy Faith, and the laws of Moameth trampling under your feet / and the terrible tormentor, / adorned with a crown of torment, more glorious, / you rose to the Heavenly face, / the wise George. / Pray to Christ God / to preserve your fatherland and save people and city // who always honor your exploits.
