Irmos of the 9th song of the canon: In the law, the canopy and scripture we see the image of the faithful: every male sex, opening the falsehood, is holy to God. Thus we magnify the first-born Word of the Father without beginning, and the first-born Matter without artifice.
In the law, the canopy and scripture - that is, in the totality of Old Testament knowledge: in the Law of Moses, in the canopy (shadow) of biblical prototypes and in the Holy Scriptures as a whole. Every male sex, lying open, every firstborn (false opening) is male. Holy to God - dedicated to God. That is here: therefore. Unskillfully - without a husband, without knowing a husband.
* Words in the law, canopy and scripture are usually translated as follows: in the obscure writings of the law (of Moses) (the Latin equivalent is also given). But the Slavic translation, with the help of homogeneous members, completely corresponds to the Greek original (the canon of St. Cosmas of Maium); However, the meaning of the translation is quite correct, but it is worth understanding how exactly this content is expressed. The often found writing “in the law of the canopy and scriptures” is erroneous and meaningless.
Thus we magnify the first-born Word - this is precisely the structure of the phrase: therefore we magnify the first-born Word - the first-born Son of the beginningless Father, the first-born Mother.
