Through Your passions give dispassion to everyone, Lover of mankind, having mortified the passions of my flesh with the Divine Cross, make it possible to see Your Holy Resurrection, Lord.
Who gives dispassion to everyone through the Passions that You endured, O Lover of Mankind, and who killed the passions of my flesh with the Divine Cross, deign to see Your holy Resurrection, Lord, {those who thank Your glory for fasting, so that we may receive great mercy in abundance!}*
* The Greek text has an addition given in parentheses.
(Δίς)

Slava, too. And now: Theotokos of the Cross: By the Honorable Cross of Thy Son we preserve, O Lady, Pure, Mother of God, we conquer every struggle of a fighter. Moreover, we always please You, as the Mother of God, and the only hope of our souls.
Glory... [we repeat] the same sedal. And now... The Holy Cross.
Guarded by the precious Cross of Your Son, Holy Lady, Mother of God, we easily repel all attacks of the warlike [our Enemy]. Therefore, we deservedly glorify You, as the Mother of Light and the only Hope of our souls.

Similar to: Mercy of existence:
This source of purity, keep us always, O Merciful One, look upon us who fall upon You: listen to the lifting of our hands, stretch out Your hands on the tree, crucify for all earth-born, incorporeal alone the Lord.
Similar to: Kind-hearted...
O Source of purity, preserve us through fasting, look at us kneeling and pay attention to the raising of our hands, You, who at the crucifixion stretched out Your hands on the Cross for all the sons of the earth, are the only Lord of the incorporeal [forces]!

Slava, too. And now, the Mother of the Cross: Your Virgin and Mother, O Christ, beholding You prostrate dead on the tree, weeping to the highlander. My son, you say that this terrible sacrament grants eternal life to everyone, by your will on the Cross, how do you die the death of diarrhea?
Glory... [we repeat] the same sedal. And now... The Holy Cross.
Your Virgin and Mother, seeing You prostrate and dead on the Tree, Christ, turned to You and cried bitterly: “My Son, what is this terrible secret? How, the Giver of eternal life to everyone, do you willingly accept a shameful death on the Cross?”
Καὶ νῦν…
Ἡ Παρθένος καὶ Μήτηρ σου Χριστέ, ἐπὶ ξύλου ὁρῶσά σε νεκρὸν ἡπλωμένον, κλαίουσα πικρῶς, Υἱέ μου ἔλεγε, τί τὸ φοβερὸν τοῦτο μυστήριον, ὁ πᾶσι δωρούμενος, ζωὴν τὴν αἰώνιον, ἑκουσίως ἐν Σταυρῷ, πῶς θνῄσκεις θάνατον, ἐπονείδιστον;

ᾨδὴ ε´.
There is sin in me in vain, the flattering wise one dismounts and cooperates with sin: for he truly rejoices over my destruction: but You grant me correction, O Savior, for the sake of his murder, I pray.
The evil one, seeing the sin in me, tries to promote it, because my death gives him true joy. You, O Savior, give me correction for His destruction, I ask [You]!

The victorious darkness began, on Your Cross, to remove these atrocities, having fallen into the depths of sin, and into the pit of placeless deeds, but by Your grace I hope to be saved.
You, who on Your Cross gave us a triumphant victory over the leaders of darkness, deliver me, who have fallen into the abyss of sin, who have slipped into the pit of obscene deeds, from their villainy! For I hope for salvation through Your mercy.

Having been slain on the Cross, prostrate, revive my soul, mortified by sin: and achieve Your honorable Resurrection, in the world, Christ, the grace, diligently working Your justification.
O you who were mortified and prostrate on the Cross, give life to my soul, which is mortified by sin, and deign me, as one who fulfills Thy commandments as befits, to achieve in the world the Resurrection of Thy Holy One!

Theotokos. Enlightenment for my weakness, Salvation for my darkened soul, O Pure One, save me, save me, O Virgin, who is perishing, and clothe me in the tunic of incorruptibility that has decayed in grave sins!

You, in the place of the Lobnem, deigned to be crucified in your flesh, the only Immortal One, immortalizing the human race and re-imagining it, Lord.
At the Place of Execution You accepted the crucifixion according to the flesh, O Only Immortal One, and gave immortality to the human race and recreated it, Lord!

Thy Passion is annoyed, the whole creation is seen to have changed, O Lord, the weeping murder of the Jews: but thou hast endured to save all things.
Creation saw disorder and mockery in Your Passion, Lord, and everything [it] changed, crying over the murder that stained the Jews, but You endured [everything] in order to save everything.
