My son! Do not forget my instructions, and let your heart guard my words; for they will add length of life, years of life and peace to you. Let alms and faith not leave you; put them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart - and you will find grace. And take care of what is good before the Lord and people. Trust in God with all your heart, and do not be proud of your wisdom. In all your ways acknowledge her, so that she may guide your paths; but your foot will not stumble. Do not be a wise man in your own eyes, but fear God and shun all evil. Then there will be healing for your body and there will be healing for your bones. Give honor to the Lord from your righteous labors and sacrifice to Him the firstfruits of your fruits of justice, so that your storehouses may be filled with bread until there is plenty and your presses may overflow. wine My son!
Do not neglect the instruction of the Lord and do not lose heart when He reproaches you, for the Lord punishes those whom He loves, and beats every son whom He receives. Blessed is the man who has found wisdom, and the mortal who has known prudence, because it is better to acquire it than treasures of gold and silver. For she is more precious than costly stones; nothing evil can oppose her; she is well known to all who love her, and everything of value is not worth her; for length of life and years of life are in her right hand, and in her left are wealth and glory. From her mouth comes truth; she carries law and mercy on her tongue. Her ways are beautiful, and all her paths are peaceful. She is the tree of life for all who hold on to her, and to those who rely on her as on the Lord, she is unshakable.
Γˊ, 1–19)
All rights reserved.

If we wish to partake of the Divine Passover, not from Egypt, but from Zion to come, we will take away the sinful kvass with repentance: let us gird our loins with the mortification of sweets: let us adorn our feet with boots, forbidding from every evil deed, and let us be strengthened by the club of faith: we are not jealous of the enemy of the Lord’s Cross, who idolizes the womb, but let us follow fasting, for the devil showed us victory, the Savior our souls. (Twice)
Desiring to partake of the Divine Passover, which comes from Zion, and not from Egypt, let us remove the sinful leaven through repentance and gird our hips by mortifying [bodily] pleasures, let us adorn our feet with shoes that hinder every wicked path, and take up the staff of faith that strengthens us! Let us not imitate the enemies of [our Master’s] Cross, who deify the stomach, but let us follow the Savior of our souls, who through fasting showed us victory over the devil! (Twice)
Martyred: Glorified in the memory of Thy saints, O Christ God, we beseech them to send us great mercy.
Martyred. Glorified in the memories [of the exploits] of Your saints, O God Christ, from above, through their persistent prayers, send us great mercy!

Glory, and now: The Holy Cross, the same voice: Similar: Like a treasure:
On the Cross, as I saw You nailed, O Lord, the Lamb and Your Mother marveled. And that the vision, the verb, of the Son you desire, this unfaithful council of You rewards the lawless one, having enjoyed many of Your miracles. But glory to Your ineffable descent, Master.
Glory... and now... The Holy Cross, Like: Like a noble martyr...
Your Mother and Lamb, Lord, seeing You nailed to the Cross, became dismayed and said: “What do I see, Most Exalted Son? This is what the unfaithful, lawless people, who have tasted many of Your miracles, reward You! But glory to your ineffable condescension, O Lord!”
