On the Sabbath at the Great Vespers, to the Lord I cried out, stichera of the Resurrection.

By Thy holy Word, O Lord, Thou hast confounded the devil, and by Thy Resurrection Thou hast dulled the sinful sting, and hast raised us from the gates of death: let us glorify Thee, only-begotten.

Risen Thou, giving life to the human race:
Forasmuch as Thou dost lead in prayer upon thy knees:
Thou hast terrified these kings of hell, and didst take up the gates of weeping.
For when the King entereth into His glory,
He speaketh unto them that are in bonds, saying: Go forth;
and to them that are in darkness, let light be opened.

Blessed Wonder, co-worker of the invisible, having suffered in the flesh for man's love, hast risen immortal. Come, let us worship Thy grace: for by the grace of the delusion thou didst deliver thyself, and having been baptized in three Persons of one God, art skilled to sing.

And these stichera of the Annolation, of the same tone.

Evening prayer we offer thee, O Unending Light, at the end of the ages, because in the mirror of the flesh Thou didst appear to the world, and even below hell didst descend, there shattering the power of darkness with light: O Giver of Light, glory to Thee.

Begging of the Prince of Peace, the glorified Jesus Christ: for He having raised from the dead, made the world captive to spiritual delusion. The angelic hosts rejoice, the demons flee the delusion, Adam rises from his fall, and the devil is put to shame.

O Thou Who hast taught us from the custody of the lawless, cover Thy Son's uprising, and receive the silverlings, and say to those who sleep, "He that was dead is stolen away." Who hath seen, who hath heard, when the dead was stolen away, more than when anointing and nakedness left him, leaving him to be buried in the grave. Do not be deceived by the Jews; learn their sayings prophesied, and understand, for this is truly the Saviour of the world, and almighty.

O Lord, who dost enslave and hast power over death, save us by thy mercy, enlightening the world with thy glorious light, have mercy on us.

Glory, and now, O Theotokos:

In the dark sea, unapproachable brides, a likeness was written sometimes: there Moses, divider of waters; here however, Gabriel, minister of wonders. Then in depths he journeyed immortal Ilia: now hath Emmanuel's mother borne without seed two. The sea remained impassable after Ilia's passage: immaculate by circumcision Emanuilev remained uncorrupted. Thou who art, and wast before, reveal Thyself as a man; but have mercy on us.
