Having been nailed on the tree of the Cross by Your will, You delivered us all from the curse of the law, and therefore we, Your debtors, exalt You, Christ!

On the verse the day is self-vocal, voice 1:
My soul has fasted from fasting, and has not cleansed itself from passions, rejoicing in vain in non-eating: otherwise it will not be your fault that you will be corrected, for the false will be hated by God, and by the evil demon Become like those who eat. Let not those who sin, create a fast that is not necessary: but remain steadfast in your desires without place, desiring to stand before the crucified Savior, rather than be crucified for the sake of Him who was crucified, crying out to To him: remember me, Lord, when you come into Your kingdom.
This verb is twice.
On Stikhovna - self-vocal stichera of the day, voice 1
By fasting on food and not cleansing yourself of passions, my soul, it is in vain that you rejoice at the scarcity of food: if it does not become for you the starting point for improving [yourself], you will be hated by God as a deceiver and will become like the worst demons who [even so] never eat. So, do not make fasting useless by sinning, but remain adamant in the face of evil desires, imagining yourself standing before the Crucified Savior, or better yet, crucifying along with the Crucified One for you, and exclaim to Him: “Remember me, Lord, when You come in Your Kingdom!”
We perform it twice.
Also martyr: You are greatly praised, martyr, neither tribulation, nor distress, nor famine, nor persecution, nor misfortune, nor the rage of beasts, nor the sword, nor the fire, shall prevent us from separating you from the mighty God: more than love for Him, as in the alien bodies of those who have moved, nature has been forgotten, death has been despised: even so, according to the inheritance of your illnesses, you have received the rewards of the heavenly kingdom heirs faster. Pray for our souls.
Then he is martyred: You, all-glorified Martyrs, neither sorrow, nor adversity, nor hunger, nor persecution, nor danger, nor the fury of animals, nor the sword, nor the threatening flame could separate you from God. But more than that: out of love for Him, you accomplished [your] feat as if in bodies alien to [you] and forgot about your nature, despising death! Therefore, you deservedly acquired the reward for torment and became heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven. Intercede for our souls!

Glory, and now, is the Holy Cross. Similar to: Heavenly ranks:
The immaculate Virgin was lifted up in the sight of the Lamb on the cross, crying out: my sweetest Child, what a new and glorious vision; As you hold your whole hand, you are nailed to the tree with your flesh;
