Lord, you have been our refuge forever and ever. Before even the mountains existed and the earth and the universe were created, and from eternity to eternity You are. Do not turn man away into humility, and you say: turn, sons of humanity. Like a thousand years are before Your eyes, O Lord, like yesterday, like the past, and the watch of the night. The humiliations of their summer will be. The morning will pass by like grass; the morning will flourish and pass away; in the evening it will fall away and become hard and wither. For I have been consumed by Your wrath, and have been troubled by Your wrath. Thou hast laid down our iniquities before Thee: our age is for the illumination of Thy face. As all our days have become impoverished, and through Your wrath has disappeared, our summer has become like a spider. The days of our years are, at the bottom, seventy years, and yet we are able, eighty years, and we multiply their labor and illness: for meekness will come upon us, and we will be punished. Who will tell the power of Your wrath, and because of Your fear, will consume Your wrath? Thy right hand speak unto me, and the hearts are bound in wisdom. Turn back, Lord, how long? And beg for Thy servants.

In the morning we were filled with Thy mercy, O Lord, and we rejoiced and rejoiced, all our days we rejoiced, for the days in this day you humbled us, in the summer in this day we saw evil. And look upon Thy servants, and upon Thy works, and instruct their sons. And may the Lord our God be upon us, and restore the work of our hands upon us, and restore the work of our hands. Lord, You are our refuge from generation to generation! Before the mountains arose and the earth and the universe were created, from everlasting to everlasting You are! Do not subject man to humiliation, for You said: “Return to the earth, sons of men!” For a thousand years are in Your sight, O Lord, as yesterday, already past, and as the time of the watch of the night. Human years are insignificant; Life will quickly fade, like grass: in the morning it will bloom and soon wilt; by evening its color will fade, it will turn yellow and wither. For we are faint from Thy wrath, and from Thy wrath we are in confusion. You look at our iniquities and illuminate our lives with the radiance of Your face. For our days are diminishing, and we are faint from Your wrath.

The years of our life are scattered like cobwebs; the measure of our years is seventy years, but if we are able, it is eighty years, plus sorrow and illness; by this we gain humility and are edified. Who will know the power of Your wrath, and in the fear of You who will comprehend Your wrath? Therefore, show me Your saving right hand and people who have strengthened the heart with wisdom! Turn your gaze to us, Lord! How long will you be angry? Have mercy on Your servants! May we be filled with Thy mercy in the morning, O Lord, and rejoice and be glad; All our days we will rejoice for the days when You humbled us, for the years when we experienced evil. Look at Your servants, at Your creations, and instruct their sons! And may the light of the Lord our God shine upon us. Correct the works of our hands, correct the works of our hands!

Psalm 90

The praise of the song of David is not written among the Jews.
Song of praise, not inscribed among the Jews, 90.

Living in the help of the Most High, he will dwell in the blood of the heavenly God. Says the Lord: You are my protector and my refuge, my God, and I trust in Him. For He will deliver you from the snare of the trap and from the words of rebellion, His splash will overshadow you, and under His krill you hope that His truth will surround you with weapons. Do not fear from the fear of the night, from the arrow that flies in the days, from the things that pass in the darkness, from the grime and the demon of the midday. Thousands will fall from your country, and darkness will be at your right hand, but it will not come close to you, otherwise you will look at your eyes and see the reward of sinners. For You, O Lord, are my hope, You have made the Most High your refuge. Evil will not come to you, and wound will not approach your body, for His Angel commanded you to keep you in all your ways. They will lift you up in their arms, but when you dash your foot against a stone, you will step on the asp and the basilisk, and cross the lion and the serpent. For I have trusted in Me, and I will deliver and cover, because I have known My name.

He will call to Me, and I will hear him, I am with him in sorrow, I will destroy him and glorify him, I will fulfill him with the length of days and show him My salvation. He who lives with the help of the Almighty will dwell under the roof of the Heavenly God. He will say to the Lord: “My protector, my refuge, my God! I trust in Him!” For He will deliver you from the snare of fishers and from the word of rebellion; He will protect you with His shoulders, you will be safe under His wings; His truth will cover you with a shield. You will not be afraid of the fear of the night, the arrow that flies during the day, the trouble that comes in darkness, the illness and the demon of the midday. A thousand will fall near you, and many thousands around you, but nothing will touch you; But you will look with your eyes and you will see reward for sinners. For you said: “Lord, You are my hope!” You have chosen the Almighty as your refuge. No evil will befall you, and no plague will come near your tent; For He will command His angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will carry you on their hands, lest your foot stumble on a stone. You will tread on the asp and the basilisk, and you will trample the lion and the serpent.

“He trusted in Me (the Lord), and I will deliver him; I will make him fall, for he has known My name. He will call to Me, and I will hear him; I will visit him in sorrow, deliver him from troubles and glorify him; I will give him long life and show him My salvation!”

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The harlot’s tears and Peter’s received, O Lord, / and the publican who was justified from the depths, sighed, / and fell in compunction, / show mercy, O Savior, and have mercy on me.
O Lord, who accepted the tears of the harlot and Peter, / and justified the publican, / who sighed from the depths of his heart, / and over me, falling in contrition, / have pity, O Savior, / and have mercy on me.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Receive me as a publican, Lord, / as a harlot, cleanse me, O Master, / as you have mercy on a Canaanite, / according to Your great mercy.
Glory: Accept me as a publican, O Lord, / as a harlot, cleanse me, O Lord, / as a Canaanite woman, have mercy / according to Your great mercy.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. Blessed Mother of Light, Mother of God, / praying to Christ God / to bring forth the morning, and great mercy / to our souls.
And now: Mother of Light, Blessed Mother of God, / pray to Christ God, / that the morning / and great mercy may dawn on our souls.
