Irmos: He who delivered the youths from the furnace, having become a Man, suffers as if he were mortal, and with the passion of death he clothes the mortal in incorruptibility with beauty; God alone is blessed and glorified by the Fathers.

Translation 2. He who delivered the youths from the oven,

Having become a man, he suffers, for he is mortal,

And mortal passion

Incorruption clothes splendor,

One God of the fathers, blessed

And glorified.

Chorus: Christ is Risen from the dead.

Wives from the world, God-wise, follow You in following: He was like a dead woman with tears of worship, worshiping, rejoicing in the Living God and Your secret Passover, O Christ, disciple of the gospel.

Translation 2. Wives, carrying myrrh, are godly wise

They ran after you:

They searched for you like you were dead with tears.

And they bowed down, rejoicing, to the Living God,

And the mysterious Easter, Christ,

Your disciples were preached to.

Chorus: Christ is Risen from the dead.

We celebrate the death of death, the destruction of hell, the eternal beginning of another life, and playfully sing of the guilty, the only blessed father of God and the most glorified.

Translation 2. We celebrate the killing of death,

And Hell's destruction,

The beginning of another eternal life,

And we glorify the culprit of that, rejoicing -

The One, the Blessed One

God of the fathers and glorified.

Chorus: Christ is Risen from the dead.

As truly sacred and all-celebratory is this saving night, and the luminous, light-bringing day of the rising of beings, the herald: in it the flightless Light from the grave rose carnally to all.

Translation 2. Truly sacred

And celebrated by everyone,

This saving night and radiant,

The herald of the day of the luminous Uprising:

And in it is an everlasting Light

He shone bodily from the grave to everyone.

Glory: Having slain Your Son, the All-blameless death, today, to all mortals the abiding life is granted forever and ever, One blessed and glorified Father is God.

And now: Thou reignest over all creation, having been a man, dwelling in Thy, God-gracious womb, and having endured crucifixion and death, was resurrected divinely, having united us like the All-Powerful.

In the chaos again Irmos: The Youths delivered from the furnace, having become Man, suffers as if he were mortal, and with the passion of death he clothes the mortal in incorruptibility with beauty, God alone is blessed and glorified by the Fathers.

Christ is Risen from the dead, trampling down death and giving life to those in the tombs. (Thrice)
