Irmos: The angel made the oven dew-bearing for the pious youths, and God’s command, which scorched the Chaldeans, convinced the tormentor to cry out: “Blessed are You, God of our fathers!”

Chorus: Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.
Chorus: Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me!

Do not trust, my soul, in perishable wealth and unrighteous gatherings, / for you will not leave all this to anyone, but cry: / have mercy on me, O Christ God, for the murder of my children.
Do not rely, my soul, on corruptible wealth/ and on unrighteous acquisitions;/ for you do not know to whom you will leave all this,/ but cry out: “Have mercy on me, O Christ God, guilty of the murder of children!”

Chorus: Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me.
Chorus: Have mercy on me, God, have mercy on me!

Do not trust, my soul, in bodily health and fleeting beauty, / for you see how the strong and the young die; but cry: have mercy on me, O Christ God, the child-killer of the filthy one.
Do not rely, my soul, on bodily health / and on quickly passing beauty; / after all, you see how the strong and young die, / but cry: “Have mercy on me, Christ God, a vile child killer.”

Glory: Remember, my soul, eternal life, the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for the saints,/ and the pitch darkness and the wrath of God for the wicked, and cry:/ have mercy on me, O Christ God, hard the one who has sinned.
Glory: Remember, my soul, about eternal life / and about the Kingdom of Heaven prepared for the saints, / and about outer darkness and the wrath of God - the evil ones, / and cry: “Have mercy on me, O Christ God, who have sinned gravely!”

And now: Fall, my soul, to the Mother of God and pray to Her, / for she is a quick Helper to those who repent, / will pray to the Son of Christ God, / and will have mercy on me who brings repentance.
And now: Fall, my soul, to the Mother of God / and pray to Her, / for She, the speedy Helper of those who repent, / will pray to the Son, Christ God, / and He will have mercy on me, who brings repentance.
