Lord my God, in knowing that I am not worthy, I am pleased below, so that under the shelter of the church of my soul you have entered, all empty and fallen, and there is no place in me worthy to bow your head: but just as you humbled us from on high for your sake, humble yourself now to my humility: and just as you accepted us in reclining in the den and in the wordless manger, and in the wordless manger take my soul, and into my defiled body; and as thou didst not fail to enter and shine from the sinners in the house of Simon the leper, so deign to enter also into the house of my humble one. souls, lepers and sinners: and just as you did not reject a harlot and a sinner like me, who came and touched You, have mercy on me, a sinner, coming and touching You: and just as you did not abhor her foul lips and unclean ones kissing You, abhor the filthy ones below mine these lips and unclean ones, lower than my vile and unclean walls, and my foul and unclean tongue.
But may the coal of Your most holy body and Your honest blood be for the sanctification and enlightenment and health of my humble soul and body, for the relief of the burdens of many of my sins, for the protection from every devilish action, for the driving away and forbidding of my evil and evil custom, for the mortification of passions, for the supply of the commandments Yours, in the application of Your Divine grace, and the appropriation of Your kingdom. It is not as if I come to You in despising, O Christ God, but as if I am daring in Your ineffable goodness, and lest I be hunted by the mental wolf in the depths of Your fellowship. In the same way I pray to You: as the only one who is holy, Master, sanctify my soul and body, mind and heart, womb and womb, and renew me entirely, and root Your fear in my hearts, and create Your sanctification inseparably from me: and be my helper and intercessor, nourishing my belly in peace, making me worthy at the right hand You will stand with Your saints, the prayers and supplications of Your most pure Mother, Your immaterial servants and most pure powers, and all the saints who have pleased You from the ages. Amen.
Lord my God! I realize that I am unworthy and not prepared for You to enter under the roof of the church of my soul, because it is empty and in ruins, and there is no place in it worthy of You, where You would bow your head; but how for our sake You humbled Yourself from the heights of heaven, and now condescend to my humility; and just as You were pleased to lie in a cave in a manger intended for dumb animals, so You were pleased to enter into the manger of my unrequited soul and into my body defiled by sin; and just as You did not disdain to enter and take part in the evening with sinners in the house of Simon the leper, so deign to enter the house of my humble, leper and sinful soul; and just as You did not reject a harlot and a sinner like me, who came and touched You, so be merciful to me, a sinner, who comes and touches You; and just as You did not abhor her foul and unclean lips that kiss (Your feet), so do not abhor even more than hers my vile and unclean lips, my foul and unclean tongue.
But may Thy most holy body and Thy venerable blood be like a burning coal for me - for sanctification, enlightenment and health of my humble soul and body, for alleviating the burden of many of my sins, for protection from every devilish action, for the elimination and curbing of my bad and harmful habits, for the mortification of passions, for success in Thy commandments, for the increase Your divine grace and the inheritance of Your heavenly kingdom. For I come to You not with an impudent demand, but with hope in Your immeasurable goodness, so that the mental wolf, seeing me removed from communication with You, the Good Shepherd of verbal sheep, does not kidnap me.
And therefore I pray to You, Master, as the only saint: sanctify my soul and body, mind and heart, all my internal organs, and renew me entirely, root Your fear in my heart and in all my members and make sure that this sanctification always remains in me; be my helper and intercessor and, like a helmsman, guide my life in silence to Your quiet refuge, so that I may be worthy to stand at Your right hand with all Your saints, the prayers and supplications of Your most pure Mother, Your disembodied servants - the heavenly most pure powers and all the saints who have pleased You from the ages. Amen.
