The book contains the full texts of the prayers, canons and chants in question, printed in ordinary “Russian” font, with accents marked. Words that need explanation are marked with a digital footnote; If possible, brief explanations of the words follow immediately after the text of this prayer book without a footnote. Then more extensive explanations or additions of two kinds may follow, marked with appropriate icons.

+ Following this sign are explanations and additions of a substantive nature, most often theological.

* This sign (occasionally it appears in the main explanations of individual words, in brackets) is followed by comments related to the features of the language.

Us. 316-325 we give a kind of guide to the Church Slavonic language, and on p. 326-359 - dictionary. Explanations directly during prayers are structured in such a way as to constantly draw the reader’s attention to the characteristic features of the Church Slavonic language and deepen the understanding of it.
