I confess to You, my Lord God and Creator, in the One Holy Trinity, glorified and worshiped, Father and Son and Holy Spirit, all my sins, which I have committed all the days of my life, and at every hour, and at the present time, and in previous days and nights, by deed, word, thought, overeating, drunkenness, secret eating, idle talk, despondency, laziness, discord, disobedience, slander, condemnation, negligence, pride, covetousness, theft, unspeaking, foul profit, money-grabbing, jealousy, envy, anger, covetousness, hatred, covetousness and with all my senses: sight, hearing, smell, taste, touch and my other sins, spiritual and physical, in the name of You, my God and Creator of wrath, and neighbor my untruthful widows: regretting these, I present my guilt to You, my God, and I have the will to repent: then, Lord my God, help me, with tears I humbly pray to You: the one who has passed By Thy mercy forgive me my sins, and forgive me from all these things that I have said before You, as You are Good and Lover of Mankind.

In church prayers there is a listing of sins, but not all, and often those very ones that we have committed ourselves to are not mentioned; You must certainly list them yourself in prayer with a clear consciousness of their importance, with a feeling of humility and heartfelt contrition. St. John of Kronstadt

When you go to bed, say:

In Your hand, Lord Jesus Christ, my God, I commend my spirit: You bless me, You have mercy on me and grant me eternal life. Amen.
