From your youth, Reverend Theodosius,/ you entrusted your desire to Christ God,/ for whose sake you left the city and fatherland/ and vain glory, counting dust as dust,/ you followed St. Demetrius/ and you were a companion of his monastery,/ you moved to the city of Totma/ and settled in the interstice,/ by fasting and vigil, and wearing haircloth,/ and chaining your body You have become dejected./ For God’s sake, having seen your labors,/ after your repose, miracles have enriched you:/ you drive out demons and enlighten the blind,/ you deliver those who come to you from all ailments and troubles by faith and crying:/ glory to Him who gave you strength,/ glory to Him who crowned you,/ glory to Him who gives you healing to all.
