It behoveth to know, since from this Wednesday of the great week of Pascha, even until Thursday, at hours and vespers thus they sing.

Voskřěnije Khristova viděvše, poklonimśě stáromu gdu iisui, édinemu bezgrěšnomu. Krtytu tvojemu poklanyemśě Khriste, i stáje voskřěnije tvoye poémъ i slavimy: ty бо bgo naše, razvé tebe iinogo ne znáemъ, imya tvoë imejemy. Príidite vsi vérnii, poklonimśě stáromu Khristovu voskřěniju: se bo príide krtytomu radost světu. At dawn on the morrow of Mary, having found a stone rolled from the tomb, they heard an angel say: In the light of the present, seek not among the dead what you are looking for; behold the graveclothes, go forth, and preach peace, for He has risen, the dead one, having overcome death, for He is the Son of God, saving the race of man. When thou wast baptized in the Jordan,
O Lord, thy body was plunged into the waters,
but thou didst cleave the earth with thy divine power.
For the faith of thy holy disciples
thou didst open the heavens and descend as a dove,
and filled the world with thy grace.
Thou didst show forth thine almighty might,
O Son of God, and didst give to man
the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Therefore, we praise thee, O Lord,
for thou art our salvation.
А҆́ще и҆ во гро́бъ снизше́лъ є҆сѝ, безсме́ртне, но а҆́довꙋ разрꙋши́лъ є҆сѝ си́лꙋ, и҆ воскрⷭ҇лъ є҆сѝ ꙗ҆́кѡ побѣди́тель хрⷭ҇тѐ бж҃е, жена́мъ мѷроно́сицамъ вѣща́вый: ра́дꙋйтесѧ! и҆ твои̑мъ а҆пⷭ҇лѡмъ ми́ръ да́рꙋѧй, па́дшымъ подаѧ́й воскрⷭ҇нїе. [Є҆ди́нощи.]
If thou didst descend into the grave, O Immortal One, Thou didst destroy the power of hell with Thy might, and didst rise again as Victor, O Saviour, Who wast foretelling to the myrrh-bearing women: Rejoice! And by Thy Apostles Thou gavest peace, and to them that fell, Thou gavest resurrection. [Evidently.]

O Lord, our God, Thy mercy is in heaven and on high;
Thy right hand ruleth with power.
Grant us Thine eternal life,

In the grave by bodily death, in Hades with the soul of God, in Paradise with the robber, and on the cross Thou wast, O Saviour, with Thy Father and the Spirit, fulfilling that which was not written.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
Ꙗ҆́кѡ живоно́сецъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ раѧ̀ краснѣ́йшїй, вои́стиннꙋ и҆ черто́га всѧ́кагѡ ца́рскагѡ показа́сѧ свѣтлѣ́йшїй, хрⷭ҇тѐ, гро́бъ тво́й, и҆сто́чникъ на́шегѡ воскрⷭ҇нїѧ.
O Life-giving One, O most beautiful in truth, revealing all the glory of the royal image with greatest brightness, Theotokos, thy grave is our fount of resurrection.

Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unflappable words of God's glory, O Theotokos, that gave birth thereto, existing in thee.
