It behooves one to know, since from this Wednesday of the great week of Pascha, even until Thursday, the hours and evening thus are sung.

In His Name, and in Thy, and in the Holy Spirit. Amen.

O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, hear my prayer, the supplication of thy servant and the prayer of thy handmaid, and the prayer of all thy creatures, have mercy on us. Amen.

Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, by death He hath trampled death, and to the living He hath given life in the tombs. [Three times.]

Gladsye jas7:

Thy mercy, O Lord, is in every place;
and reacheth to the heavens.

Risen the Lord in the Virgin's womb, we bow before the Holy One, the Only Begotten. We kiss Thy holy hands, and with the Resurrection of Thine we sing and glorify: for Thou art God our King, and if not thus we know Thee, we call upon Thy name. Come all ye faithful, let us bow before the Holy Resurrection: for it cometh to the world a joy to all. Always blessing Thee, we sing the Resurrection: for having endured the crucifixion, Thou hast by death destroyed death. [Three times.]

Through this, let us worship with a loud voice, the glory of God:

At dawn on the morrow of Mary, having found a stone rolled from the tomb, they heard an angel say: In the light of the present, seek not among the dead what you are looking for; behold the graveclothes lying there, go forth and preach peace, for He has risen, the Dead One, as is the Word of God, saving the race of mankind. [Alone.]

When thou didst enter the lion's den, O Lord,
and wast lying down with lions,
thou didst find them to be lambs,
for thy power is in thy holy ones.

Thou didst go down into the abyss,
O Life of the world,
and didst draw up to heaven
the fish that had fallen into the depths.
For thou art the true Light,
that enlighteneth every man who cometh into this world.

Therefore, with thine holy apostles we cry:
Glory to thee for ever.

If thou didst descend into the lower parts, O Immortal, Thou hast destroyed the power of hell with Thy might, and didst raise Thyself as Victor, O Saviour, proclaiming to the myrrh-bearing women: Rejoice! And by Thy Apostles Thou givest peace, to them that fall, raising them up to life again. [Eidonti.]

In the grave by bodily death, in hell with the soul of God, in paradise with the robber, and on the throne Thou wast seated, O Jesus Christ, with Thy Father and Holy Spirit, fulfilling that which was not written.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.

O Sustainer of life, O most beautiful in color, truly and indeed thou didst show forth every feature of the royal image most brightly, O Grave, fount of our Resurrection, Jesus Christ.

And now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Exalted and blessed be the heavenly brightness of the Theotokos, rejoicing. By thee, O Lady, joy hath been given, Master, to them that cry: Blessed art thou among women, immaculate Lady.

And also, Lord, have mercy. [Thou]

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Father, and to the Holy Spirit, now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unflappable words of God, O Theotokos, that gave birth without corruption.

Through the prayers of our holy fathers, Jesus Christ, Theotokos, and the Holy Spirit, have mercy on us. Amen.

And again we say: Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, by death he hath trampled death, and on those in the tombs he hath bestowed life. [Three times.]

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit, both now and ever, and unto the ages of ages. Amen.

O Lord, have mercy. [Three times.]

O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, hear our prayer, the supplication of Thy servant and of all Thy saints, and of all Thy creatures, have mercy on us. Amen.
