It behooves one to know, how during this week of great and holy Paschal week, even until the Sabbath, at hours and vespers, thus they sing.
In His Name, and in Thy Name, and in the Name of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
O Lord Jesus Christ, our God, hear our prayer for Thy merciful intercession, O Venerable and Theotokos-bearers, and all the saints, have mercy on us.
Amen.
Jesus Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and on those in the tombs bestowing life. [Three times.]
Gladsye jas7:
Thy mercy, O Lord, is in every place; I believe it fully. For Thou hast cast down the eyes of those who trust in the pride of man, and hast exalted the humble. For Thou lovest them that love Thee, and for ever wilt Thou be praised by the saints. Amen.
Risen is the Virgin's Christ, let us bow to the Holy One, Jesus, the Only Begotten. We bow to Thee, O Christ, and with Thy Resurrection we sing and glorify: for Thou art God our King, and if not thus do we know Thee, yet by Thy Name we call upon Thee. Come all ye faithful, let us bow to the Holy One's Resurrection: for behold, joy cometh to all the world through the Comforter. Ever blessing Thee on high, we sing the Resurrection of Him: for having endured the Crucifixion, Thou hast by death destroyed death. [Three times.]
Vespers, the first lesson:
Glory to Thee, O Lord,
and may Thy name be praised in the Church of all the saints.
Through Thee, let there be glory to the Father and the Holy Spirit, together now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Glory to Thee, O Lord,
glory to Thee.
At dawn on the morrow of Mary, having found a stone rolled from the tomb, they heard an angel say: In the light of the present, seek not among the dead what you are looking for; behold the linen cloths, go forth and preach peace, for He has risen, the dead one living, for He is the Son of God, saving the race of man. [Alone.]
When thou wast baptized in the Jordan,
O Lord, thy flesh didst not defile the waters,
but sanctified them by thyself,
making all things new through thy mighty power.
Therefore, we pray thee:
Grant us to partake of the divine gifts,
and to be made clean by thy grace.
For thine is the kingdom and the power
and the glory forever. Amen.
If thou didst descend into the grave, O Immortal One, Thou hast destroyed the power of hell by Thy strength, and didst raise Thyself as Victor, O Saviour, proclaiming to the myrrh-bearing women: Rejoice! And with Thy Apostles Thou givest peace, unto the fallen Thou dost give resurrection. [Eidontos.]
And a troparion:
Grant, O Lord, to Thy servant the gift of repentance,
That he may know his transgressions and turn from them with compunction of heart.
For Thou art merciful, O Lover of Mankind, and lovest those who return to Thee.
In the grave by nature, in hell with the soul of God, in paradise with the robber, and on the cross thou wast, O Saviour, with Thy Father and the Spirit, fulfilling that which was not written.
Glory to Thee, and to Thy Son, and to Thy Holy Spirit.
O Life-giving One, O most beautiful in truth, thou who revealedest all the lines of the royal image to be the brightest in light, Theotokos, thy grave is our fount of resurrection.
And now and for ever. Amen.
O high and glorified Saviour, rejoice. By Thee hast been given joy, O Theotokos, to them that call upon Thee: Blessed art thou among women, immaculate Lady.
Therefore, Lord, have mercy. [Thou]

Most glorious Cherubim, and most renowned Seraphim, we magnify thy unflappable words of God's glory, O Theotokos, who art ever venerable.

With the prayers of our Venerable Father, O Lord Jesus Christ, Thy Theotokos, have mercy on us. Amen.
And again we say: Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and on those in the tombs bestowing life. [Three times.]
