It behoveth to know, since from this day of the great week of Pascha, even until Thursday, at hours and vespers thus they sing.

Risen is the Virgin Christ, let us bow down to the Holy Mother of God, the Only Begotten. We bow before Thy holiness, O Christ, and with hymn and glory we sing: for Thou art our God, and if not thus do we know Thee, we call upon Thy name. Come, all ye faithful, let us bow down to the Holy Virgin's Resurrection: for behold, joy cometh to all the world through Her Incarnation. Ever blessing Thee, O Lord, we sing the Resurrection of Him: for having endured the crucifixion, Thou didst destroy death by death. [Three times.]

At dawn on the morrow of Mary, having found a stone rolled from the tomb, they heard an angel say: In the light of the present, seek not among the dead what you are looking for; behold the graveclothes, go forth, and preach peace, for He has risen, the Dead One, for He is the Son of God, saving the race of man. ҆҆ Конда́къ, гла́съ и҃:
When Thou didst descend into the waters,
O Christ God,
and didst in a bodily shape
descend unto Hades,
there didst Thou slay death by Thy Power.
Thou didst deliver the souls of the righteous,
who were before waiting for Thee,
unto Paradise,
and didst make manifest to the angels
a way to the Father.
For Thou art the true Light, O Lord,
the True Life, the Resurrection of the dead.

If thou hast descended into the lower parts, O Immortal, yet didst thou shatter the power of hell with thy might, and didst rise again, as Victor over death, O myress who bear the myron, saying: Rejoice! And by thy Apostles thou givest peace to them that fall, giving them resurrection. [Eidineshi.]

In the grave by bodily death, in Hades with the soul of God, in Paradise with the robber, and on the throne Thou wast seated, O Lord, with Thy Father and the Spirit, fulfilling all things according to the unrecorded Book.

Glory to Thee, and to Thy Mother, and to the Holy Spirit.
Ꙗ҆́кѡ живоно́сецъ, ꙗ҆́кѡ раѧ̀ краснѣ́йшїй, вои́стиннꙋ и҆ черто́га всѧ́кагѡ ца́рскагѡ показа́сѧ свѣтлѣ́йшїй, хрⷭ҇тѐ, гро́бъ тво́й, и҆сто́чникъ на́шегѡ воскрⷭ҇нїѧ.
O Sustainer of life, O most beautiful in color, truly and indeed thou didst show the glory of all royal forms to be the brightest, O Grave, fount of our Resurrection, Jesus Christ.
