The voice of a given Sunday (Week, in Church Slavonic and in liturgical terminology) can be found in the church calendar. The voice determines numerous liturgical hymns of the week, but here we present only Sunday troparia, since it is desirable to include them in your cell rule and are prescribed to be read in the Follow-up to Holy Communion.
Voice 1st
I am sealed with stone from the Jews, / and as a warrior guarding Your Most Pure Body, / Thou hast risen for three days, / granting life to the world. / For this reason, the heavenly powers cry out to You, O Life-Giver: / glory to Your resurrection, O Christ, / glory to Your Kingdom, / glory to Your look, the only one who loves mankind.
The stone was sealed from the Jews, and the warriors guarded Your Most Pure Body - although the stone was sealed by the Jews and the soldiers guarded Your Most Pure Body. For this reason - therefore. They cried out to You - they called out to You. Looking is providence, Providence.
The stone was sealed from the Jews, and the soldiers guarding Your Most Pure Body... They went and set a guard at the tomb, and put a seal on the stone (Matthew 27:66).
The stone is sealed from the Jews, and the warriors guarding Your Most Holy Body... We have before us a turn of speech characteristic of the Church Slavonic language: the so-called independent dative. This construction carries the meaning of circumstance. This meaning is translated into modern Russian using a completely different phrase (subordinate clause).
Voice 2nd
When you descended to death, Immortal Life, / then you killed hell with the brilliance of the Divine; / when you also raised those who had died from the underworld, / all the powers of heaven cried out: / Life-giving Christ our God, glory to Thee.
When - when. Belly Immortal - Immortal Life (* vocative case - appeal).
+ The canonical icon of the Resurrection of Christ is the icon of His descent into hell.
The Savior “descends into hell so that, just as the Sun of righteousness would shine for those on earth, in the same way the light would shine for those who were in darkness and the shadow of death (see: Job 10:21); so that, just as the Lord preached peace to those on earth, release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, and to those who believed he became the Author of eternal salvation, and to those who did not believe - the reproof of unbelief, in the same way he preached to those who were in hell, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven, on earth and under the earth (Phil. 2:10). And thus, having resolved those who had been bound for centuries, He returned back - from death to life, paving the way for us to resurrection.”
Venerable John of Damascus
When you descended to death, Immortal Belly, then you killed hell with the brilliance of the Divine...
“Having penetrated into hell, Christ, with the radiance of His glory, dispelled its impenetrable darkness and brought the holy captives, contained in the impenetrable darkness of hell, from captivity with Him to heaven.”
Venerable John Cassian the Roman
You raised those who died from the underworld...
“The Intercessor of God and men liberated the souls of the righteous from the prisons of hell when He Himself descended there, and led them to the joys of heaven.”
Saint Gregory the Great
The Sunday troparion of the 2nd tone is also the troparion of Great Saturday, the eve of Christ's Bright Resurrection.
Voice 3rd
Let them rejoice in heaven, / let them rejoice on earth, / for the Lord has created a power with His arm, / has trampled down death by death, / has become the firstborn of the dead; / deliver us from the belly of hell, / and bestow great mercy upon the world.
Heavenly - everything heavenly, heaven. 3-terrestrial - everything earthly, earth. Create power with Your arm - He showed the power of Your hand. Velia - great.
+ Create power with Your arm - an expression from the song of the Most Holy Theotokos (in Russian translation: He showed the power of His arm - Luke 1:51); the words spoken by the Most Pure Virgin about the Incarnation of the Son of God, the troparion relates to His Resurrection and, thus, to the entire work of God’s House-Building (Providence). The words trampling down death by death turn us to the troparion of Easter: Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and giving life to those in the tombs.
Be the firstborn of the dead, deliver us from the womb of hell. The line refers us to the words of the Apostle Paul: But Christ has risen from the dead, the firstborn of those who have fallen asleep. For just as death is through man, so is the resurrection of the dead through man. Just as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will come to life, each in his own order: Christ the firstborn, then those who belong to Christ at His coming (1 Cor. 15:20-24).

The disciples of the Lord heard the bright resurrection sermon / from the Angel, / and rejected the condemnation of their forefathers, / the apostle boasting with the verb: / death has been cast away, / Christ God has risen, / granting great mercy to the world.
The resurrection sermon is the news of the resurrection. Having known - having learned. An ancestral condemnation is a condemnation inherited from the forefathers (i.e. Adam and Eve). If it is overthrown, it is trampled upon.
Students. In the Church Slavonic language, in certain positions (for example, before “i” and “yat”) the sounds “k”, “g”, “x” (back-lingual) alternate with the sounds “ts”, “z”, “s”. So, a righteous man - but righteous women, a martyr - but martyrs (m. generation); God - but about God, spirit - but soul. But, in this case, the participles agreed with this noun are in the plural. including the feminine gender “having led,” “having rejected” and “boasting.”
Voice 5th
The co-original Word of the Father and the Spirit, / born from the Virgin for our salvation, / let us sing of faith and worship, / as you deigned to ascend in flesh to the Cross, / and endure death, / and resurrect the dead / with His glorious resurrection.
The co-original is also without beginning and authority, that is, also Eternal and Omnipotent.

The angelic forces are on Your tomb, / and those watching are dead, / and Mary is standing in the tomb, / seeking Your Most Pure Body. / You captured hell without being tempted by it; / you met a maiden, granting life; / risen from the dead, Lord, glory to Thee.
Streguschii - watchers, guardians.
+ After the Sabbath had passed, at dawn of the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. And behold, there was a great earthquake, for the Angel of the Lord, who descended from heaven, came, rolled away the stone from the door of the tomb and sat on it; his appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow; Frightened by him, those guarding them trembled and became as if they were dead; The angel, turning his speech to the women, said: Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus crucified; He is not here - He has risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay, and go quickly, tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see Him there. Behold, I have told you (Matthew 28:1-7). And Mary stood at the tomb and cried. And when she cried, she leaned into the tomb and saw two Angels sitting in white robes, one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus lay. And they say to her: wife! Why are you crying? He says to them: They have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him (John 20:11-13).
Thou hast met a virgin, granting life... The line of the troparion turns us to the continuation of the events of the Gospel of John: to the meeting of Jesus with Mary Magdalene (John 20:11-18). She is called here a virgin (neither the Gospel nor the life of St. Mary Magdalene, Equal-to-the-Apostles, tells us anything directly about the age and marital status of the saint at the time of the Gospel events; but the Greek word παρυένος - virgin - like the modern girl, was also used to designate a young woman in general - one whose marital status is not indicated by anything). Often in this troparion the word “virgin” is written with a capital letter, as referring to the Most Holy Theotokos; but with this understanding, the troparion does not lend itself to any satisfactory explanation.
Thou hast captivated hell... In the Greek text of the troparion - disarmed.
Voice 7th
Thou hast destroyed death by Thy Cross, / opened up paradise to the thief, / offered mourning to the myrrh-bearers, / and commanded the apostle to preach, / that Thou hast risen, O Christ God, / bestowing upon the world / great mercy.
You changed it - that is, you turned it into joy (transform it - turn it).
Thou hast opened paradise to the thief... - see: Luke 23:43.
...Thou didst offer mourning to the myrrh-bearers... - see: Matthew 28:8-10.
...And you commanded the apostle to preach... - see: Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15.
Voice 8th
Thou didst descend from the heights, O Compassionate One, Thou didst accept the three-day burial, so that we may be freed from passions, Our Life and Resurrection, O Lord, glory to Thee.
