Chorus: My soul has fallen into the path of robbery,/ you are fiercely wounded by your sins,/ having given yourself over to an unreasonable enemy./ But as one who has time, he cries out in compunction:/ the hope of the unreliable, the belly of the despairing, // Savior, raise up and save me.

Verse: In the morning we were filled with Thy mercy, Lord, and we rejoiced and rejoiced: all our days we rejoiced, for the days in this day you have humbled us, in this day we have seen evil. And look upon Thy servants, and upon Thy works, and instruct their sons.

My soul has fallen into the path of robbery,/ you are fiercely wounded by your sins,/ having given yourself over to a foolish enemy./ But as one who has time, cries out in compunction:/ hope unreliable, desperate, // Savior, raise up and save me.

Verse: And bring the lordship of the Lord our God upon us, and restore the work of our hands upon us, and restore the work of our hands.

Having wrapped yourself in the armor of faith,/ and armed yourself with the image of the Godfather,/ you showed yourself to the warriors of goodness,/ you courageously resisted the tormentor,/ and you consumed the devil’s charms,/ the former winner, You have been granted crowns:/ pray to Christ for us,/ so that our souls may be saved.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Theotokos: Receive the voices of Thy servant,/ All-pure Virgin Mary,/ and pray unceasingly,// for the remission of sins, and to grant us peace.

Reader: It is good to confess to the Lord, and to sing to Your Name, O Most High: to proclaim Your mercy in the morning, and Your truth throughout the night. (Twice)
