O Soul of Mine, with tears of repentance and sighs, cry out: Physician of soul and body, O Lover of mankind, heal me from many sins. Draw me near, O Sinner, and Robber, and Taxgatherer; and grant me Thy Theotokos, the Unlawful.
My prayers and my salvation, save me.
Glory: In the penitence of the Publican I did not envy, and in the tears of the Sinner I did not rejoice: for I was amazed at such a correction from oblivion; but by thy benevolence, O Good Lord, thou hast saved me, for thou art a lover of mankind.
And now: Thee, O Lord, two unspotted ones, pray with Thy holy powers, more merciful than we were before the end, to grant us repentance and great mercy.
O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:
Grant unto our hearts, O Lover of Mankind, Lord, the unending light of Thy divine teaching, and let our thoughts be enlightened by Thy evangelical discourses: implant in us the fear of Thy blessed commandments, that we may emulate the fleshly virtues.
All having been corrected, we shall pass through a devout life, all for thy good will and wisely and doing. For thou art the enlightener of souls and bodies our Jesus Christ, and to thee we send glory with thy unbeginning Father and all holy and life-giving Spirit.
Thy holy abode, now and ever and to the ages of ages, amen.
