Keep not thou silence, O God; hold not thy peace, O God, nor be thou still.

For behold, thy enemies exult, and they that hate thee have lifted up their head.

They have devised a crafty plan against your people, and consulted together against your holy ones.

They have said, Come, let us destroy them as a nation, that the name of Israel may be no more.

That they conspired in unity against thee, and agreed to a covenant.

The tents of Idumea and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagarenes.

Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, and the foreign peoples dwelling with Tyre.

And for Assyria joined them; they became a reproach to the sons of Lot.

‹. Make them as Madiam and Sisara were made by Jabin in the brook Kison.

Perished in Aenon, become as dung upon the earth.

Who said, Take their rulers as Oreb and Zeeb and Zebah and Salmana, all their rulers.

Ours is the holy sanctuary of God.

As God burneth the wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire.

So burn them as fire burns a forest, as a flame consumes mountains.

Thus shalt thou drive them with thy tempest and trouble them with thy wrath.

Let them be filled with confusion and seek thy name, O Lord.

Let them be ashamed and confounded for ever and ever, and let them perish and vanish away.

And let them know that thou alone art the Lord, highest over all the earth.

At the end, O sharpener, of the wooden son, theawl, hath been sharpened.

How amiable are thy dwellings, O Lord of hosts!

Yea, my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord; my heart and flesh rejoice in the living God.

Blessed are those who find a home in thy dwelling, O Lord my King and my God; where they may lay their nest, even thy altar, O Lord of might.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: they shall be praised to all generations.

Blessed is the man whose loins you gird, O Lord; upon his heart you have imposed exaltation.

They go from strength to strength; into the valley of weeping they go, and there the Lawgiver will give blessing.

O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer; in power shall be seen the God of gods in Sion. Selah.

Hear, O God of might, the prayer of thy servant Jacob.

‹. Defender of us, behold, O God, and look upon thy Christ.

For one day in thy courts surpasseth a thousand, O Lord; I had rather dwell in my tent within thy house than dwell in tents of wickedness.

O Lord, who loveth mercy and truth, he will give grace and glory; he will not withhold good from them that walk uprightly.

Lord of power, blessed is the man who hopes in thee.

At the end, O Son of the Vineyard, Thou hast been pricked.

Lord, thou hast shown favour to thy land; thou hast restored the captives of Jacob.

Thou hast covered all their sins: thou hast turned away all their iniquities.

Turn us, O God of our salvation, and let thy wrath toward us depart.

Restore us, O God of our salvation; and turn thy wrath from us.

ѕ҃. Є҆да̀ во вѣ́ки прогнѣ́ваешисѧ на ны̀; и҆лѝ простре́ши гнѣ́въ тво́й ѿ ро́да въ ро́дъ;
Wilt thou not continue thy wrath for ever? Let not the hot zeal of thy anger abide from generation to generation.

Show us your mercy, O Lord, and let your people rejoice in your deliverance.

Show us, Lord, your mercy and your truth you will establish for us.

I shall hear what the Lord God will command me, that he will speak peace to his people and to his saints, and to those who turn to him with their whole heart.

‹. Except for the nearness of those fearing His salvation to dwell in our land's glory.

Mercy and truth have met together; justice and peace have kissed.

Truth hath sprung from the earth, and righteousness hath looked down from heaven.

And for the Lord will give righteousness, and the earth shall yield her fruit.

Righteousness shall precede Him and set His footsteps in the way.
Glory:
