Mercy two-fold, Thee.

Bow down thine ear, O Lord, and hear me; for I am poor and needy.

Preserve my soul, for I am holy: O my God, save thy servant who trusteth in thee.

Be merciful to me, O Lord, for I cry to thee all the day.

Rejoice, the soul of thy servant; for unto thee, O Lord, have I lifted up my soul.

For thou, Lord, art good and gracious, and abundant in mercy to all who call upon thee.

Hearken, O Lord, to my prayer; and incline thine ear to the voice of my supplication.

In the day of my trouble, I will cry unto thee: for thou wilt hear me.

Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; nor are there any works like unto thine.

All nations that thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O Lord, and shall glorify thy name.

‹. For thou art great, and workst wonders; thou art the God who art alone.

Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth; let my heart rejoice in fearing thy name.

I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart, and I will glorify thy name for ever.

For thy mercy is great toward me, and thou hast delivered my soul from the depths of hell.

O God, the lawless have risen up against me, and the assembly of mighty men have sought after my soul; and Thou hast not been placed before them.

But thou, O Lord, art a God of great compassion, and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy and truth.

O look upon me and have mercy on me; give thy strength to thy servant and save the son of thy handmaid.

Show me a sign of good, that those who hate me may see it and be ashamed; for thou, Lord, hast helped me and comforted me.

Dignified mention hath been made of thee, O city of God, a psalm.

And of Zion they shall say, "This one and that one were born in her," and the foreigners with the peoples of Ethiopia; for all shall dwell there.

The Lord shall consider when He writes up the people that this man was born there. Selah.

As the dwelling of all rejoicing in thee, O Lord. Song of the Sons of Korah, to the end, for a vision.

Psalm of the Son of Core, at the end, O Master, to instruct the understanding of the Israelite, psalmize.

O LORD God of my salvation, in the daytime and by night I cry out before Thee.

Let my prayer come before thee, O Lord; incline thy ear to my supplication.

I am filled with calamities, and my life draweth near to Hades.

I besought with those going down to the pit; I became as a man without help, free among the dead.

Thou hast laid me in a sleep like those dead, in the tomb where thou didst not remember them; and they have been carried from thy hand.

Thou hast laid me in a low pit, in darkness and the shadow of death. Selah.

Thou hast stablished thy wrath upon me, and thy fierce anger hath reached thy foot; thou hast made me a reproach to them.

Mine eyes fail with tears because of affliction; Lord, I have called daily upon thee, I have stretched out my hands to thee.

‹. My eyes have failed from poverty; I cried unto thee, Lord, all day long I have stretched out my hands to thee.

а҃і. Є҆да̀ ме́ртвыми твори́ши чꙋдеса̀; и҆лѝ вра́чеве воскресѧ́тъ, и҆ и҆сповѣ́дѧтсѧ тебѣ̀;
Shall thy mercy be proclaimed among the dead? or thy truth in the realm of the slain?

в҃і. Є҆да̀ повёсть кто̀ во гро́бѣ млⷭ҇ть твою̀, и҆ и҆́стинꙋ твою̀ въ поги́бели;
Aye. Though thou didst lie in the tomb, and in death; yet was thy truth revealed in destruction.

г҃і. Є҆да̀ позна̑на бꙋ́дꙋтъ во тмѣ̀ чꙋдеса̀ твоѧ̑, и҆ пра́вда твоѧ̀ въ землѝ забве́ннѣй;
But let thy wondrous works not be known in darkness, nor thy righteousness in a land forsaken.

LORD, why hast Thou forsaken me? why art Thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my groaning?

є҃і. Вскꙋ́ю, гдⷭ҇и, ѿрѣ́еши дꙋ́шꙋ мою̀; ѿвраща́еши лицѐ твоѐ ѿ менѐ;
O Lord, why castest thou away my soul? Why turnest thou thy face from me?

I am poor and in sorrows from my youth; yet lifted up, I was humbled and brought low.

Thy wrath hath gone over me, and Thy terrors have troubled me.

Thou hast surrounded me with waters all the day long; encompassed me while sleeping and waking.

You have withdrawn a dear and sincere friend, and those known to me from suffering.
Glory:
