O Soul of Mine, healing through repentance, come, weeping, with sighs beseeching: heal both soul and body, O Lover of Mankind, from many sins. Draw me near to the harlot, and the robber, and the publican; and grant me Thy Theotokos, O Lawless.
My prayers and save me.
Glory: In the penitence of the Publican I did not envy, and in the tears of the Prostitute I did not rejoice: for I was bewildered by such a correction: but through Thy benevolent love, O Theotokos, Thou hast saved me, for Thou art a lover of mankind.
And now: Thee, O Lord, two unspotted ones, pray with Thy powerful ones for us, more merciful than the sinners before the end to grant repentance, and great mercy.
O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:
Grant unto our hearts, O Lover of Mankind, Lord, the unending light of Thy divine teaching, and may our thoughts be enlightened by Thy evangelical discourses: implant in us the fear of Thy blessed commandments, that we may emulate the fleshly virtues.
All having been corrected, we shall pass through a devout life, all for thy good-will and wisely and doing. For thou art the enlightenment of our souls and bodies, O Jesus Christ, and to thee we send glory with thy unbeginning Father and all-holy and good and quickening Spirit.
O Soul/Spirit, Thou Comforter, Master, Lady, Venerable, Merciful, we beseech Thee.
By Thy holy abode, now and ever and to the ages of ages, amen.
