O Soul of mine, with tears of repentance, approach and pray, sighing and saying: Physician of soul and body, O Lover of mankind, free me from many sins. Draw me near to the harlot, and the robber, and the publican; and give me Thy Theotokos, who is without lawlessness.

My prayers and save me.

Glory: In the penitence of the Publican I did not envy, and in the tears of the Sinner I did not rejoice: for I was amazed at such a correction from oblivion; but by thy benevolence, O Good Lord, thou hast saved me, for thou art a lover of mankind.

And now: The Theotokos, two unspotted ones, pray to Thee with Thy mighty powers, more readily than our prayers were granted before the end, and vouchsafe great mercy.

O Lord, have mercy, and grant peace:

Lord God, grant in our hearts the unceasing light of Thy lovingkindness, and may our thoughts be enlightened by Thy divine teachings as found in the Gospels: implant in us the fear of Thy blessed commandments, that we may emulate the fleshly virtues.

Having made all our corrections, we shall pass through this life devoutly and wisely, working for thy good pleasure and understanding. For thou art the enlightener of souls and bodies of ours, O Jesus Christ, and unto thee we send glory with thy unbeginning Father and the Holy Spirit, to all ages and to every blessing and life-giving.

By Thy Holy House, now and ever and unto the ages of ages, amen.
