Irmos: Thou hast laid firm love for us, O Lord, for Thou hast given Thy Only Begotten Son to die for us. Moreover, we call upon Thee with thanksgiving: glory to Thy power, O Lord.
Chorus: Merciful Lord, hear the prayer of Your servants praying to You.
Already desperate with a severe illness and approaching death, return, Christ, to your stomach and give joy to those who cry, and let us all glorify Your holy miracles.
Chorus: Merciful Lord, hear the prayer of Your servants praying to You.
To You, Creator, we repent of our sins, for sinners who do not want to die, revive and heal the sick, so that when He arises He may serve You, confessing Your goodness with us.
Glory: The tears of Manasseh, the repentance of the Ninevites, I accepted David’s confession, you soon saved me, and accept our prayers now, give health to the sick, for whom we pray to You.
And now: Grant us Your mercy, Lady, always trusting in You, ask for health for the sick, Thy healing hand with the Forerunner, Mother of God, stretching out to the Lord God.
