Irmos: The prophet heard Your coming, O Lord, and was afraid, because you wanted to be born of a virgin and appear as a man, and said: I heard Your rumor and were afraid: glory Your power, Lord.

Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.

You had a gentle disposition and a meek heart, not accepting malice against those who reveal this to you, our Father Paisios: but as from her, consigning anger to oblivion, help your hand quickly by giving, you delighted from the all-pervading.

Reverend Father Paisios, pray to God for us.

Your death is honorable, but quick and unknown: having come not too late, but quickly and self-righteously, having delighted you, it left us to eat orphans, and inconsolable from crying.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

Even though I have greatly offended and grieved your heart: but having seen his kindness, I fall down and pray to you: remember me too, where you appeared before God, so that I will not be rejected by you and your verbal flock.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.

With our shepherd who had trust in You, pray to the Lady, Your Son Christ our God, who remains under Your protection for us: may He grant us sinners His kingdom.
