The Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying: This month is the beginning of the month for you; the first of the months will be for you. Says to all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying: in the tenth month of this month let every sheep take to its own house, every sheep to its own house. If there are few of them in the house, as if they were dissatisfied with the sheep, let him take with him his neighbor according to the number of souls, each one counting what is enough for himself for the sheep. The male sheep shall be perfect, blameless and one of a kind; you shall receive from the lamb and from the goats. And it shall be kept unto you even unto the tenth day of this month: and all the multitude of the congregation of the children of Israel shall be slaughtered at evening. And they will receive the blood, and anoint it on both rootstocks, and on the floors of the houses, and eat it in the bottom. And they eat the meat in that night, baked with fire, and eat unleavened bread with bitter herbs. Do not take them away harshly, below boiled in water, but baked by fire, head with legs and womb.
You will not abandon it until morning, and you will not break its bones; the remains of it you will burn with fire until morning. And you carried it off: your loins are girded, and your boots are on your feet, and your staffs are in your hands: and you took it down with care: Passover is the Lord’s.

And I decided to him: what shall we do to you, and the sea will be satisfied from us? The sea has risen beyond, and there has been greater commotion. And Jonah said to them: Take me up and throw me into the sea, and the sea will be satisfied from you: I have known that it is for my sake that this great commotion is upon you. And the men needed to return to the earth and could not, for the sea had risen and risen above them. And he cried out to the Lord and decided: Never, Lord, let us not lose our souls for the sake of this man, and do not give us the blood of the righteous: for you, Lord, have created what you willed. you are.
