According to the Great Litany the exclamation:
For You are the purification of our souls, and to You we send glory, to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
And according to the amine, the primate prays loudly with this prayer:
Most Good God, unapproachable by Divinity, who is perceived in the image of the servant servant, and, in the image of saving humility, the feet of Thy disciples were washed with Thy most pure hands and opened with laziness! Look down now upon us, unworthy Thy servants, imitating Thy glorious condescension: and make it worthy for us to be washed away from carnal defilements, and from spiritual impurities, sowing waters with a touch. Grant us the invisible influx of the Most Holy Spirit: strengthen us from the flattering serpent that gnaws at our heels, so that once you have been cleansed, we may serve You favorably, above the serpents and scorpions and all the forces of the enemy who are transitory. For all glory, honor and worship is due to You, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
Peace to all.
Bow your heads to the Lord.
And the primate prays secretly:
Lord our God, who showed us the measures of humility in Your highest condescension, and called the last will of the first, grace us in serving each other: exalt us with Divine humility, keep us from filth, always washed with tears, cleansed by the enlightenment of the purifying grace of Yours: may the truth always fall upon You, we will find mercy and bounty at Your terrible judgment.
Exclamation:
For You are a Merciful and Lover of Mankind, and we send up glory to You, with Your Beginningless Father, and Your All-Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages.
