Да веселѧ́тсѧ нбⷭ҇наѧ, да ра́дꙋютсѧ земна̑ѧ: ꙗ҆́кѡ сотворѝ держа́вꙋ мы́шцею свое́ю гдⷭ҇ь, попра̀ сме́ртїю сме́рть, пе́рвенецъ ме́ртвыхъ бы́сть, и҆з̾ чре́ва а҆́дова и҆зба́ви на́съ, и҆ подадѐ мі́рови ве́лїю млⷭ҇ть.
Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad: For the Lord hath shown His might with His arm, trampling death by death, the firstborn of the dead, having freed us from the womb of Hades, and giving the world great mercy.
Сла́ва, и҆ ны́нѣ, бг҃оро́диченъ:
Glory to Thee, and now, O Theotokos
Тѧ̀ хода́тайствовавшꙋю сп҃се́нїе ро́да на́шегѡ, воспѣва́емъ бцⷣе дв҃о: пло́тїю бо ѿ тебѐ воспрїѧ́тою сн҃ъ тво́й, и҆ бг҃ъ на́шъ, крⷭ҇то́мъ воспрїи́мъ стрⷭ҇ть, и҆зба́ви на́съ ѿ тлѝ ꙗ҆́кѡ чл҃вѣколю́бецъ.
We sing to the Theotokos who intercedes for our race, having been taken by Thy Son, and our God, who was taken by Thee, deliver us from the corruption of man.
