O Lord our God, Thou hast raised up from the dead Christ our King,
unto Thee be glory and might for ever and ever. Amen.

Let the heavenly ones rejoice, let the earthly ones be glad: For with His mighty arm the Lord hath overcome death by death, the firstborn of the dead, and from the bosom of hell delivered us, and gave to mankind a great mercy.

Glory, and now, O Theotokos:

We magnify the Intercessor of our salvation, the Theotokos, in twofold manner: for by thee, O Pure One, was conceived the Son of God, and by thy womb we received Him to be born, and deliver us from the deceit of the lover of mankind.
