O Thou Who hast raised up the dead by Thy Passion, O Christ our God, glory be to Thee. For Thou didst suffer all things for us, and by Thine own self didst trample down death. Therefore with the Angels we cry out: Glory to Thee, O Lord; to Thee be glory in the ages of ages. Amen.
Let the heavenly ones rejoice, let the earth dwellers be glad: For with His mighty arm the Lord hath slain death by death, the firstborn of the dead, and from the bosom of hell hath He delivered us, and hath given to mankind a great mercy.
Glory, and honour, now, to the Theotokos:
O Theotokos, intercessor of our salvation, we magnify thee in twofold manner: for by thy pure body received from thee, and God our own, we take to ourselves the strength, and deliver us from the snare of the lover of man.
