Troparion of the Resurrection, Tone 8:
Rejoice, O Bride of Christ our God,
Who hast brought forth the Sun of Justice from Thy womb:
Wherefore we sing to Thee and glorify Thy holy Nativity.
For Thou art the true Dawn, enlightening all the earth.
Let the heavenly ones rejoice, let the earthly ones be glad: For with His mighty arm the Lord hath slain death by death, the firstborn of the dead, and from the bosom of hell He saved us, and gave to mankind a great mercy.
Glory, and honour, now to Theotokos:
We magnify and hymn the Intercessor of our birth, O Theotokos, in pairs: for by thee we have received grace from thyself, and our God, to partake with thanksgiving, and deliver us from the snare of the lover of man.
