But a new wonder and God-blessed, for the Lord passeth through a closed door, naked at the entrance, and the bearer of the cross hangeth from the exit; yet the door remaineth shut: this ineffable, as we glorify God.
It is fearful to behold Thee, O Creator, raised upon the cross with divine words uplifted, yet suffering in the flesh for Thy servants, and lying lifeless in the tomb, and Thou, dead, hast loosed them from hell: therefore do we glorify Thee, because Thou art mighty beyond measure.
And Thou, O Saviour, having suffered death for the sake of the prophets, wast laid in a grave dead, and Thy life sprang forth again, raising the dead to life, leading the human nature into light, and putting on immortality in the flesh. Therefore we glorify Thee, O Source of eternal Light.
O Theotokos,
Temple and Theotokos glorified Thee, O Virgin, in which Thou didst dwell above all heights, born without travail, all-compassionate, in Thy holy flesh not overturning the gates of all creation. Wherefore by ceaseless prayers of Thine, O Master, tongues of barbarians quickly to the end be subject.

And He
Irmos: Sweet is the fragrance of thy sacrifice.
Thou hast filled all with honour from the dishonour of death: by Thy passion Thou didst taste and gavest to mortal life immortality, O Lover of Mankind.
Spare me, O Lord, and raise me from the grave, for Thou hast raised Thyself, and didst bring Thee to Thy parents: and Thou didst place by the right hand of Thine for thy prayer-weeping much.

This hymn of that same one.
Satisfaction of thy praises is twofold, O blameless and faithful one: for the desire of thy desire is ever divine and spiritual, as we magnify the Virgin Mother.
Thou hast laid up for us an unholy prayer-bearer, Thee born of Jesus Christ. By Thy prayers Thou givest to us the Spirit, giver of good things, proceeding from Thy Father.
