Virmos:

Thou, O Lord, hast created man in Thine own image and after Thy likeness; Thou didst give him dominion over all things, that he might rule them according to the law of righteousness. But because of sin, man hath lost this authority and is become a stranger in his own house. Therefore, restore unto us, O Lord, the power of Thy grace, that we may serve Thee with pure hearts and holy hands. Amen.

Bless ye all the works of the Lord, and in His glory do ye exalt Him for ever and ever.

Let the church's brightness be dimmed when thy baptismal font is placed upon the forehead, and thy countenance bow in fear, singing: Bless ye all the works of the Lord, praise him and exalt him for ever.

Raising Thee, O Christ, from the grave, and having corrected by Thy divine power him who had fallen through spiritual deception with a tree, Thou didst call and say: Bless ye all the works of God, sing ye and exalt Him for ever.

The Theotokos:

Temple of the Most Holy Theotokos, a dwelling place and ark: Thou, O Mother of God, by Thy intercession, hast reconciled it to Thee, and worthy are we all to sing Thee, and ever extol Thee in all ages.

Unpassioned Word, without passion, with God's glory, yet doth the Unpassionate Suffer in His flesh; to Him we sing and say:

Bless ye all the works of the Lord, praise and exalt Him for ever.

Blessed are you, O Soul of Life, who died that we might live eternally; rose again for our salvation and saved those who sing of death: bless all the works of God, praise Him and exalt Him for ever.

Blessed be Thou, O Lord, God, Creator of the world, and Saviour of our souls and bodies!

Glory be to the Most Holy Trinity, united ineffably, and we sing: Glory ye all the works of the Lord, praise and exalt Him for ever.

This hymn of the same.

Let us bless the blessed Pair, Thy bridal chamber, and exalt them in all ages.

Thou hast made the natural goodness fairer, O Lord, revealing the divine body in its loveliness. We bless thee, O blessed Lady, and we exalt thee for all ages.
