Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal we are glorified;
For by death it was destroyed,
And by the Resurrection it was raised up.

Therefore, let us with compunction of heart
Praise Him in gladness and joy,
Who by His own death conquered death,
And opened to us the gate of life.

But a new wonder and God-wondrous thing: for the Lord passeth through the closed door of the double doors, naked at the entrance, and the bearer of the cross hangeth in the exit of God; and the door remaineth shut: this ineffable, as we glorify the Theotokos.

It is fearful to behold Thee, Creator, upon the wood uplifted by the Word of God, yet suffering in the flesh for Thy servants, and lying lifeless in the tomb, having raised the dead from Hades: therefore do Thou preserve us, since Thou art all-powerful and mighty.

Thou, O Saviour, hast spoken to the dead, being laid in the grave, and hast quickened life, rising from the dead, leading man's nature into light, and putting on thee an immortal garment of resurrection. Wherefore we glorify Thy ever-living Source of Light.

O Theotokos,

Temple and Theotokos glorified Thee, O Virgin, in the high places where Thou didst dwell, having entered into all the heights of Thy pure body, born without sin to all creation, not overturning with Thine entire flesh any of the gates thereof. Wherefore, by ceaseless prayers of Thine, O Master, the barbarian tongues quickly unto the end were subdued.

And He

Irimos: Sladkoy prechtagvo tvego rzhutva.

Thou hast filled all with honour from the dishonour of death: by Thy passion Thou didst taste and gavest to mortal creature immortality, O Lover of mankind.

Spare me, O Lord, Thy resurrection from the grave, for Thou hast also raised me up and brought me to my parents: on the right hand didst Thou set me because of my good-will in praying.

This hymn of that same one.

Satisfaction of thy praises is twofold, O blameless and faithful one: for the desire of thy desire is ever divine and spiritual, since we glorify thee with a pure and holy heart.

Thou hast laid up for us an unblamable prayer-bearer, Thee born of Jesus Christ. By Thy prayers Thou givest to us the Spirit, giver of good things, proceeding from Thy Father.
