Irimos:
By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal is our hope;
For life is not in belly,
But by God's will and His grace.
Not suddenly do we perish,
Nor by delusion of the soul;
For compunction of heart
Is the path to salvation.
Stranger, foreign land we seek,
Where power and authority dwell;
Yet spectacle of shame
Doth mock our vain desires.
Creature of God, let us bow,
In mercy's embrace we find;
Righteousness is our guide,
Glory be to Thee, O Lord!
By Thy right hand, O Master,
Our might doth come from Thee;
For in Thee alone we trust,
O Comforter, O Spirit!
But a new wonder and glorious miracle: for the Lord passeth through the closed door of the double doors, naked at the entrance, while the bearer of the body hangeth at the exit; and the door remaineth shut: this ineffable mystery we glorify as God Most High.
It is fearful to behold Thee, O Creator, raised upon the cross with divine words uplifted, yet suffering in body for Thy servants, and lying lifeless in the tomb; Thou who hast brought forth the dead from Hades: therefore do we glorify Thee, because of Thy mighty power.
From the depths of death thou hast called forth the Prophets, having been laid in the grave and being dead, yet thy life has blossomed, rising from the dead, guiding the human nature to light, and putting on incorruptible glory. Therefore we glorify thee as the ever-living Source of Light.
The Theotokos:
The Temple and Theotokos glorified Thee, O Virgin, Thy right hand having dwelt in the heights, born without cunning of all creation, not overturning with Thine entire body all the gates. Therefore, by unceasing prayers of Thine, Thou hast quickly brought to submission the barbarian tongues.

And He
Irmos: Sweet is the fragrance of Thy sacrifice.
Thou hast filled all with honour from the dishonour of death: by Thy passion Thou didst taste and gavest to mortal life immortality, O Lover of mankind.
Spare me, O Lord, and raise me from the grave, for Thou hast raised Thyself, and didst bring to Thee my parents: on the right hand Thou didst place me for my unworthiness in prayer.

This hymn of the same.
The fulness of thy praises is twofold; there is no boasting among the godly and faithful: for they desire that which is truly desired, both the spiritual and the divine, as we magnify the Virgin Mother.
Thou hast laid up for us an unholy prayer-bearer, Thee born of the Holy Virgin. By thy prayers thou dost give to us the Spirit, giver of good things, proceeding from Thy Father through thee.
