Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee! For Thou art life (жизнь) from all eternity, and unto Thee do we lift up our hearts (животы) today (днесь). Through Thee, O Lord, we have understanding (разумение); for Thou hast taught us that without Thee nothing is profitable (полезно), neither the wisdom of men nor their strength. For all things are from Thee and to Thee they must return; and to Thee do we give thanks, for Thou art good (хорош) and Thy mercy endureth forever (самою же милостию Твоею). Amen.

Thou hast laid up for us a firm love from Thyself, for Thou didst give Thy Only-Begotten Son for our sake unto death. Wherefore we call Thee giving thanks: glory to Thy power, O Lord.

Hearken to the words of Christ, and by thy merciful prayers thou hast healed me with long-suffering under strokes and beatings, and by them thou hast wrought my salvation: glory be to thy power, O Lord.

By a mortal body hast Thou partaken of life, and by Thy passions for the poor hast Thou sighed for the afflicted Thine: and though corrupt Thou didst quicken the withered, Thou didst raise all to life, because Thou wast glorified.

O Theotokos,

Poměnì Khriste, Yež stěžál' yéssti stad'o strět'iuyu tvoi'yu: preproslavlěnnëya tvoiye mtiře mlět'ivnyye molyby prjěm', i posetil' ošloblennoye, izbavi si siloю tvoyu gdy.

And Jehovah.

Stranná i neizrechna:

Strange and unutterable:

Creating according to the likeness of Thy Man-loving humanity, and having been made dead through sin by transgression, Thou hast been laid on the tombstone, and hast descended.

Deadly sins, which death hath consumed, deliver: but the deadly realm of hell shall be destroyed, and Thou shalt raise them out of the grave, O Lord.

And He said.

This hymn of that same one.

Thou, O Master, hast set the mountains by the measure of God's holy reason, and with a stone Thou hast hewn them down, save for Thy hands: Thy power, O Lover of Mankind, is glorious.

Heal thee, O Lord, our nature quickly, uniting this body and soul together by Thy precious Word, O Master.

Part of my soul is with Thee, and the desired inheritance Thou hast united me to by Thy Word and by Thy Body, becoming Thy dwelling-place through Thine Incarnation.
