Irimos:

By life alone we are saved,
Through life eternal we are glorified;
For life is from Thee, O Lord,
And death is our foe.

Not by belly, but by life,
We shall be judged in the end;
For life is not in vain,
But a gift of God's own hand.

Always in compunction of heart,
Let us cry to Thee:
O Lord, have mercy!

For Thou art our salvation,
Our righteousness and our glory;
Thou art the Creator of all,
And the Judge of the living and the dead.

Stranger is no one to Thee,
Nor spectacle of shame;
For in Thee we find our power,
And our creation's frame.

Deceitful are those who lead us astray,
With guile they seek to bind;
But Thou, O Lord, art ever faithful,
In mercy and in kind.

Today let us lift up our souls,
To the right hand of Thy might;
For in Thee we find our strength,
And our hope in every plight.

O Spirit, Comforter of all,
Hear our prayers, hear our cries;
For Thou art with us always,
In joy and in our sighs.

Thou hast laid up for us a firm love from the Lord, for Thou alone didst give Thy only-begotten Son for our death. Wherefore we call Thee giving thanks: glory to Thy power, O Lord.

Hearken to the words of Christ, and by thy merciful prayers thou hast healed me with long-suffering under strokes and beatings, and by them thou hast wrought my salvation: glory be to thy power, O Lord.

By a mortal body hast Thou partaken of life, O Thou hast partaken of death for the sake of the poor, and Thy sighings for the needy: and though thou wast corruptible, Thou didst make glorious the corruption of him that was withering; and Thou didst raise to life all, because Thou didst glorify.

O Theotokos,

Poměnì Khriste, yež stěžál' yésy stádo strět'iuyu tvoyuyu: preproslavlennyëa tvoyëya mtrye mlětvitnyëa molby prjěmy, i posetiv õloblënnoé, izbavi si siloju tvoyuyu gdje.

And Thee.

Irimos: Strange and ineffable:

Creating according to the likeness of Thy Man-loving Man, and having been made dead through sin by transgression, Thou hast been laid on the tombstone, and hast descended.

Deadly sins, which death hath consumed, deliver: but the deadly realm of hell shall be destroyed, and Thou shalt raise them out of the grave, O Lord.

And.

This hymn of that same one.

Whom God hath set the mountains on as a measure of holy reason, Thou hast been hewn from two stones, save by Thy hands: Thy power, O Lover of Mankind, is glory.

Healtheless and healed wast Thou, O Master, our nature quickly, joining together this with that by Thy precious Word, O Savior.

Part of my soul is with Thee, and the desired inheritance Thou hast united me to by Thy Word, becoming flesh that I might be Thy dwelling-place.
