O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
Grant us to see Thy wondrous works and to know Thy mighty power,
that by the knowledge of Thine eternal life we may be delivered from the delusion of this world.

Thou hast laid up for us a firm love from Thyself, having given even Thine only-begotten Son for our sake unto death. Wherefore we call Thee giving thanks: glory to Thy power, O Lord.

Hearken to the words of Christ, and by thy merciful prayers thou hast healed me with long-suffering under strokes and beatings, and by thy patience thou hast endured spittings upon thee: through them hast thou wrought my salvation; glory be to thy power, O Lord.

By a mortal body hast Thou partaken of life, O Thou hast partaken of death for the sake of the poor, and Thy sighings for the needy: and though thou wast corruptible, Thou didst glorify the ineffable beauty, and didst raise all to life, because Thou wast glorified.

O Theotokos,

Poměnì Khriste, yež stěžál' yésy stádo strět'iuyu tvoyuyu: preproslávlennyëa tvoyëya mtyré myslit'ivnyëa mol'by pr'yémy, iye posětiv yósl'oblennoye, izbav siyl'oyu tvoeyu gdye.

And Jehovah.

Strange and unutterable:

Creating according to the likeness of Thy man-loving Man, and having been made dead through sin by transgression, Thou hast been laid on the tombstone, and hast suffered.

Dead ones, whom death hath swallowed up, give them back: but the deadly dominion of hell shall be broken, and thou shalt raise them from the grave, O Lord.

And Jehovah.

This hymn of the same.

Thou, O God, by Thy holy reason hast measured the mountains; Thou hast cut them with a two-edged stone, save Thy hands: Thy power, O Lover of Mankind, doth glorify Thee.

Heal thee, O Healer of our nature, Lord, swiftly uniting this body and soul in thy holy bond, by thine ineffable word, O Master of the Spirit.

Part of my soul is with Thee, and the desired inheritance, having united me with Thee by word and by faith, Thou hast made me a dwelling-place by faith.
