Virmos:

By life alone we are saved,
And by death we perish:
For life is from Thee, O Lord,
And death came into being through our transgression.

Through Thee, O Life-giving One,
Let us be saved and have mercy upon us.
For Thou art the Life of the world,
And unto Thee do we cry:

Glory to Thy mercy,
Glory to Thy righteousness,
Glory to Thy eternal life.

Thou hast laid up for us a firm love from Thyself, having given even Thine only-begotten Son for our sake unto death. Wherefore we call Thee giving thanks: glory to Thy power, O Lord.

Hearken to the words of Christ, and by thy merciful prayers thou hast healed my wounds with long-suffering under beatings and stripes, and by thy patience thou hast brought me salvation: glory be to thy power, O Lord.

By a mortal body hast Thou partaken of life, and by death hast Thou been made acquainted with the needy and the sighing of Thy poor: and though corrupt, Thou didst glorify; and Thou didst raise to life all the dead, because Thou wast glorified.

O Theotokos,

Poměnì Khriste, yež stěžál' yésy stádo strět'iuyu tvoyuyu: preproslavlennyëa tvoyëya mtríre mlětivnyëa mol'bý prjěmy, i posečtiví yósloblënnoé, izbav siyl' toyuyu gdy.

And He said.

Vestment: Strange and ineffable:

Creating according to the likeness of Thy Man-loving humanity, and having been made dead through sin by transgression, Thou hast been laid upon the tombstone, and hast descended.

Deadly sins, which death hath devoured, deliver: but let the deadly realm of hell be destroyed; raise thou us out of the grave, O Lord.

And.

Thou, O God, having set the mountains by Thy holy wisdom's measure, didst smite them with a stone, save for their foundations: Thy power, O Lover of Mankind, doth glorify Thee.

Heal the sick and unwell nature of our being, O Master, swiftly uniting this body and soul through thy precious Word, O Savior.

Part of my soul is with Thee, and the desired inheritance Thou hast united me with by Thy Word, becoming flesh that I might be a tabernacle.
