With my voice I cried to the Lord, with my voice to God, and I heard. In the day of my tribulation I sought God with my hand, which I laid before Him, and was not deceived. Having denied myself, my soul may be comforted. I remembered God and rejoiced, my spirit mocked and became faint-hearted. Anticipate the war, my eyes: I am confused and speechless. I thought about the first days, and remembered the eternal summer, and learned: I mocked my heart at night, and my spirit grew sad: will the Lord reject food forever, and will not show mercy again? Or will He cut off His mercy until the end, ending the verb from generation to generation? Will God forget to provide food? Or will He withhold His bounties in His anger? And they said: now has begun, this betrayal of the right hand of the Most High. I will remember the works of the Lord, as I will remember Your wonders from the beginning, and I will learn from all Your works, and I will mock at Your undertakings. O God, in holiness is Thy way: who is the great God that is our God? You are the God who works miracles: You have spoken Your power among people, You have delivered Your people with Your arm, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.

You saw the waters, O God, you saw the waters, and you were afraid: the deeps were in turmoil, there was a lot of noise of the waters, a voice came from the clouds, for your arrows were passing away. The voice of Your thunder is in the wheel, Your lightning illuminates the universe: the earth moves and trembles. Thy ways are in the sea, and Thy paths are in many waters, and Thy footsteps are not known. You have taught your people like sheep through the hand of Moses and Aaron. I cried loudly to the Lord, I cried loudly to God, and He listened to me. In the day of my tribulation I sought God; I stretched out my hands to Him at night, and was not deceived in my hope; but my soul rejected consolation. I remembered God and rejoiced, I plunged into thought and my spirit fell into cowardice. I didn’t close my eyes at night when the guards changed; I was confused and remained silent. I thought about the days of old, I remembered the years gone by and was edified. At night I pondered in my heart and tried to know my spirit; Will the Lord really reject us forever and cease to be kind to us? Or will He completely deprive us of His mercy? Or did His word, which sounded from generation to generation, fall silent?

Will God really not want to have mercy on us? Or will He stop His bounties in His anger? And I said: “Now I have begun to understand: it is the right hand of the Most High that brings about changes.” I remembered the works of the Lord; I will remember Your wonders from the days of old, And I will learn from all Your deeds, and I will reflect on what You have done. God, Your path is filled with holiness. Where is there a God as great as our God? You are a God who works miracles! You have shown Your power to the people, You have delivered Your people with Your right hand, the sons of Jacob, the sons of Joseph. The waters saw You, O God, the waters saw You and were afraid; the deeps trembled; The great waters roared; The clouds roared, and Your arrows were flying. The peals of Your thunder filled the firmament, Your lightning illuminated the universe; the earth shook and trembled. Your ways are in the sea, and Your paths are upon many waters, and no one will see Your footprints. You guided Your people like sheep by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

After kathisma 10. Trisagion according to Our Father: Troparion, tone 6:

On the terrible day of Your coming / I am terrified, O Christ, / and fear the unwashed judgment, O Lord, / I am terrified and trembling, for I have many sins, / but before the end I am merciful God, / convert and save me, my Savior, Most Merciful.
/ I am terrified of the terrible day of Your coming, O Christ, / and, fearing the incorruptible judgment seat, O Lord, / I fear and tremble, for I have many sins. / But before the end, as a merciful God, / convert and save me, / my most merciful Savior.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. When the thrones are set up for judgment, O Lord, / and men will appear before Your judgment seat: / the king of the warrior will not be preferred, / the ruler of the servant will not prevail: / each one will either become famous by his own deeds, or will be ashamed.
Glory: When the thrones for Judgment are set, O Lord, / and people appear before Your judgment seat, / they will not prefer a king to a warrior, / the master will not receive advantage over the slave: / for each one will either be glorified or put to shame by his own deeds.

And now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen. Great gifts, pure Virgin of the Mother of God, / you have been honored, / as you gave birth to the flesh of the One of the Trinity, Christ the Giver of Life, / for the salvation of our souls.
And now: You, / pure Virgin Mother of God, have been rewarded with great gifts, / for you have given birth in the flesh to One of the Trinity, / Christ the Giver of life, / for the salvation of our souls.
