The God of gods, the Lord, spoke and called the earth from the east of the sun to the west. From Zion comes the splendor of His beauty. God will come, our God, and will not be silent: a fire will burn before Him, and a storm will surround Him. Heaven will call from above and the earth to judge His people. Gather together those who are like Him, who will testify to His covenant regarding sacrifices. And the heavens will proclaim His righteousness, for God is the judge. Hear, my people, and I will say to you, Israel, and testify to you: God, your God, I am. I will not reprove you about your sacrifices, but your burnt offerings will be presented before Me. I will not accept bulls from Your house, nor goats from Your flocks. For all the animals of the oak forest, the cattle of the mountains and the oxen are mine. I know all the birds of the sky, and the beauty of the countryside is with Me. If I am hungry, I will not say to you: For the universe and its fulfillment are mine. Do I eat yam meat or drink the blood of goats? Devour a sacrifice of praise to God and render your prayers to the Most High. And call Me in the day of your tribulation, and wear you out, and glorify Me.

But God said to the sinner: How will you tell my justifications and accept my covenant with your mouth? You hated this punishment and you rejected my words. If you saw your aunt, you flowed with him, and you considered your participation with the adulterer. Your mouth multiplies malice, and your tongue weaves together flattery. Sitting, you slandered your brother and put a temptation on your mother’s son. This is what you did and kept silent, you became angry at iniquity, because I would be like you. I will reprove you and bring your sins before your face. Understand this, you who forget God, lest he snatch away, and never deliver. The sacrifice of praise will glorify Me, and there is the way, whereby I will show him My salvation. The God of gods, the Lord raised his voice and called the earth from the east of the sun to the west. From the heights of Zion His beauty shone forth. God will come openly, our God, and not in silence; a fire will kindle before Him, and a great storm will surround Him. He will call heaven from above and earth to judge His people. Gather before Him His righteous, who will fulfill His covenant regarding sacrifices.

And the heavens will proclaim His righteousness, for God is the Judge of the world. “Hear, my people, I will tell you and testify to you, O Israel: I am God, I am your God! I will not reproach you for your sacrifices, for your burnt offerings are always before Me; I will not accept bulls from your house or goats from your flocks. For all the beasts of the forest are Mine, the cattle on the hills and the oxen; I know all the birds of the air, and the beauty of the fields is before Me. If I were hungry, I would not tell you; for the universe and all that fills it are Mine. Do I eat the flesh of bulls? Or do I drink the blood of goats? Offer your praise to God and fulfill your vows before the Almighty. Call on Me in the day of your trouble, and I will deliver you, and you will glorify Me.” And God said to the sinner: “Why do you proclaim My commandments and accept My covenant with your mouth? You hated instructions and completely rejected My words. If you saw a thief, you helped him, and became an accomplice of the adulterer; Slander abounded in your mouth, and your tongue wove deceptions; Sitting in the congregation, you slandered your brother, you laid snares for your mother’s son.

You did this, but I was silent; and you thought wickedly that I would become like you. But I will reprove you and expose your sins to you! Understand this, you who forget God, may He not take your life away, and may there be no deliverer! The sacrifice of praise will glorify Me; and this is the way by which I give salvation to man.”

Psalm 50

Finally, a psalm to David, always go to Nathan the prophet, and always go to Bathsheba, Uri’s wife.
Finally, a psalm of David, sung by him after the prophet Nathan came to him; After David went in to Bathsheba, Uriah's wife, 50.

Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your compassions, cleanse my iniquity. Above all, wash me from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my iniquity, and I bear away my sin before me. I have sinned against You alone, and I have done evil before You, so that You may be justified in Your words and overcome, never judge You. Behold, I was conceived in iniquity, and in sins my mother gave birth to me. Behold, you loved the truth; you showed me your unknown and secret wisdom. Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Give joy and gladness to my hearing; humble bones will rejoice. Turn away Your face from my sins, and cleanse all my iniquities. Create a pure heart in me, O God, and renew a right spirit in my womb. Do not turn me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Give me the joy of Your salvation, and strengthen me with the Lord’s Spirit. I will teach the wicked your way, and wickedness will turn to you.

Deliver me from bloodshed, O God, God of my salvation, my tongue will rejoice in Your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will declare Your praise. As if you had wanted sacrifices, you would have given burnt offerings without being pleased. The sacrifice to God is a contrite spirit, a contrite and humble heart, God will not despise. Bless Zion, O Lord, with Your favor, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built. Then you will be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, the wave offering, and the burnt offering: then they will lay the bullock on Your altar. Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your great mercy, and according to the multitude of Your mercies, cleanse me from my iniquity! Above all, wash me from my iniquity, cleanse me from my sin; For I know my iniquity, and my sin is always before me. I have sinned against You alone and done evil before You; but You are righteous in Your judgments and You will overcome when You judge. I know that I was conceived in iniquities, and my mother gave birth to me in sins. I know that You loved the truth, You showed me the unknown secrets of Your wisdom.

Sprinkle me with hyssop, and I will be cleansed; Wash me, and I will become whiter than snow. You give joy and gladness to my hearing; humble bones will rejoice. Turn Your face away from my sins and cleanse me from all my iniquities! Create in me a pure heart, O God, and revive the spirit of truth in my chest! Do not cast me away from Your presence and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me! Grant me joy in my salvation and strengthen me with the mighty Spirit! I will teach the wicked Your ways, and the wicked will turn to You. Deliver me from blood, O God, God who saves me, and with joy my tongue will praise Your righteousness. Lord, open my mouth, and my mouth will utter Your praise. If You wanted a sacrifice, I would offer it, but You do not favor a burnt offering. A sacrifice to God will not humiliate a contrite spirit, a contrite and humble heart. Show, O Lord, Thy favor to Zion, and may the walls of Jerusalem be built! Then you will be pleased with the sacrifice of righteousness, the wave offering and the burnt offering; Then they will place bullocks on Your altar.

Glory to the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.
