O Soul/Spirit, in compunction of heart we cry to Thee:
unto Thee do we lift up our soul;
unto Thee do we pour out our prayer and supplication,
laying bare before Thee our sorrows and desires.
For Thou art the Lord our God, the One who healeth the brokenhearted
and poureth iniquity into the dust of the earth.

Thee we magnify, O Theotokos, and with hymns we reverently contemplate: Even as the children praised the Triune, who was exalted above all, Thou didst renew the world in Thy womb, O most glorious Father, and highly praised.

Therefore the earth trembleth, the sun hideth itself, and the brightness thereof passeth away: for the church's veil is rent; and the stones are split asunder: for upon the cross hung the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, highly praised.

Thou hast been as one without help, and wast invoked among the dead by our will for Thy sake, being raised up freely, Thou didst set free all, and with Thy mighty hand didst raise Thee up, O glorious Father God, and highly praised.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice, fount of waters ever flowing.
Rejoice, paradise of sustenance.
Rejoice, wall of faithful ones.
Rejoice, unassailable.
Rejoice, worldwide joy, by which our heavenly Father God and greatly glorified has brought us glory.

And Irmos: Morning hymns with reverence:

Of old was the land defiled with blood, crimsoned by fratricidal hands: but with Thy precious Blood Thou hast been sprinkled and hast cried out: Father Most High, blessed art Thou.

Let the Jews who are hostile to Christ weep with shame for His crucifixion: but let those who rejoice, lift up their hands in joy and cry out: Blessed is He, O God, the Son.

Carrying all the burden of the world, O Comforter, we cry out as an angel: Arise, O Christ, and come and see the sign, the empty tomb and the graveclothes, and cry out: Blessed is the womb that bore Thee and the breasts that nursed Thee.
And I, Thee tenderly beseech:

Thou, O Theotokos, by the prophetic understanding of Jacob's ladder, art uplifted on high and livest with men, because of Thy good will, thou glorious Father God and highly praised.

Rejoicing in reading, and thou, Pastor, who wast crucified in the skin of man, truly exalted, over all mankind, for His ineffable womb-birth: Glory to Thy Father God, and greatly to be praised.

But the New Adam, O Ever-Blessed God, from thy pure blood thou hast become eternal verily; wherefore now pray for me, who hath vowed to renew: glorious Father God and highly praised.
