Glory to Thee, O Lord, glory to Thee!

Thee we magnify, O Theotokos, and with hymns we reverently contemplate: Even as the children praise the Third who is exalted, the world renewed in Thy womb is whole, the glorious Father of God, and highly praised.

Therefore let the earth be dismayed, and let the heavens tremble, and the earth be moved out of its place: for the lawless are laid low from their throne, and there is none to help them. The Lord hath made himself known by his holy arm that he may go with us; in his love and in his pity he hath redeemed us: he is the Lord our God.

Thou hast been as one without help, and wast invoked among the dead by our will for Thy sake, being raised up by a mighty power, Thou didst set free all, and with Thy powerful hand didst raise Thee up, O glorious Father God, and highly praised.

O Theotokos,

Rejoice, fount of waters ever flowing.
Rejoice, paradise of sustenance.
Rejoice, wall of faithful ones.
Rejoice, unassailable.
Rejoice, world-wide joy, by which our heavenly Father God and greatly glorified has brought us glory.

And Irmos: Morning hymns with reverence:

Of old was the land defiled with blood, crimsoned by fratricidal hands: but with thy precious blood thou hast been sprinkled and hast cried out: Father God, blessed art Thou.

Let the Jews who are hostile to Christ weep for their boldness in crucifying Him: but let those who rejoice, lift up their hands and cry out: Blessed be the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

With thy bearing of the myrrh and thy shining forth, O Angel, cry: Arise, O Christ, come and behold the tokens, the linen cloth and the sepulcher, and cry: Blessed art thou, O Father.

And Irmos: I beseech Thee:

Thou, O Theotokos, as Jacob spiritually comprehends the ladder: by thee being exalted upon earth we are made to live, and the blessed Father God is glorified and extolled.

Rejoicing in reading, and thou, Pastor, having been crucified in the skin of man, truly exalted, over all mankind, for the unsearchable womb-birth: Blessed is the Father God and greatly glorified.

But the New Adam, O Ever-Blessed God, from thy pure blood thou hast become eternal verily; wherefore now pray for me, who hath besought thee, calling upon thee: Glory be to thy Father and greatly glorified.
