Explanation
In the first centuries of Christianity, when at the all-night vigil the altar minister at the appearance of the morning dawn exclaimed: Glory to Thee, who showed us the light! then in response to this, the choir and everyone present in the church sang this morning song, in which the Most Holy Trinity is glorified and where a request is made for preservation without sin throughout the coming day and for the illumination of the mind with spiritual light. This song, beginning with the song of the Angels, sung by them at the Nativity of the Savior, ends with the Seraphim's song, as if meaning by this that heaven and earth, Angels and people form one great, common choir for glorifying the Lord.
About the importance of that doxology, Blessed Simeon of Thessalonica says: “Everyone who is faithful should learn and know this, and send morning and evening to God every day” (See New Tablet 2, 62).

We, Your servants, Mother of God, to You, the Voivode, who prevails in battles with enemies, offer a victorious and grateful song for having been delivered from troubles by You. But You, as having invincible power, (continue to) protect us from all troubles; we will cry out to You: Rejoice, unmarried Bride (i.e., married, ever-virgin).
