Genesis reading. [Gen.17:1-9]
Abram was ninety-nine years old: and the Lord appeared to Abram, and said to him: I am thy God; please thou shalt please me, and be blameless. And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and I will multiply you greatly. And Abram fell on his face: and God spoke to him: And this is my covenant with you, and you will be the father of many languages. And no one shall be called thy name Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham: as the father of many languages hath he laid down upon thee. And I will make you grow green, and I will make you a nation, and kings will come out from you: And I will make My covenant between Me and you, and between your seed after you throughout their generations. The covenant is everlasting, that God may be unto you, and to your seed after you: And I will give to you and to your seed after you the land in which you dwell, all the land to Canaan for an everlasting possession, and I will im God. And God spoke to Abraham: You will keep My covenant, you and your seed after you throughout their generations.

And I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations, an everlasting covenant, that I will be your God and your descendants after you. And I will give to you and to your descendants after you the land on which you live, the whole land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession, and I will be their God.” And God said to Abraham: “And you shall keep My covenant, you and your descendants after you in their generations.”

Reading parables. [Prov.15:20-33, 16:1-9]
A wise son makes his father happy; a foolish son irritates his mother. A foolish path is a poor mind: the husband walks wisely and corrects. Those who do not respect the host put aside thoughts: in the hearts of the council there is advice: The evil one will not listen to him, below he says that it is useful and good for the common. The path of the belly of the mind of reason, so that he who turns away from hell will be saved. The Lord destroys the houses of troublemakers: establish the limit of the widow. The thought of the unrighteous is an abomination to the Lord: but the words of the pure are honest. The bribe-taker ruins himself: he who hates the gifts of acceptance will be saved. Through alms and faith sins are cleansed; through the fear of the Lord everyone avoids evil. The hearts of the righteous are taught faith: but the mouths of the wicked speak evil. Make the paths of righteous men acceptable before the Lord, for there are friends even with enemies. God is far removed from the wicked: but He listens to the prayers of the righteous. A little acceptance with truth is better than a lot of life with untruth. Let the heart of the husband think righteousness, and let his feet be straightened by God.
A good seeing eye gladdens the heart: but good glory makes fat the bones. Hearing the reproofs of life, he will dwell in the midst of the wise. He who sweeps aside punishment hates himself; he who observes reproof loves his own soul. The fear of the Lord is punishment, and wisdom: and the beginning of glory answers her: [Glory shall come before the humble.] To man is the offer of the heart: and from the Lord is the answer of the tongue. All the deeds of the humble are revealed before God: and the Lord strengthens the spirits. Bring your deeds closer to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. The Lord has done everything for His own sake: wickedness will perish in the day of evil. Anyone who is high-hearted is unclean before God, but puts his hand in his hand unjustly, and he will not be blameless. The beginning of the path of goodness, even doing righteousness, is more acceptable before God than eating sacrifices. Seek the Lord, and understanding will find righteousness: But those who seek him righteously will find peace. All the works of the Lord are in righteousness: but the wicked are kept for an evil day.
Reading the book of Proverbs [15:20–33; 16:1; {Sir.3:18} 16:2–9]
A wise son makes his father happy, but a foolish son insults his mother. The heart of a fool is devoid of thoughts, but a wise man walks on the straight path. Those who do not respect meetings disdain reasoning, but reflection abides in the hearts of those who consult. The evil one will not listen to him and will not say anything useful and good for society. The paths of life are the thoughts of reason, in order to escape from hell and be saved. The Lord destroys the houses of the proud, but strengthens the borders of widows. An unrighteous thought is an abomination to the Lord, but the words of the blameless are holy. He who accepts gifts destroys himself, but he who hates gifts will live. Through alms and faithfulness sins are cleansed, and thanks to the fear of the Lord, everyone avoids evil. The hearts of the righteous are taught faithfulness, but the lips of the wicked speak evil. The ways of righteous people are pleasing to the Lord; through them even enemies become friends. God is far removed from the wicked, but He hears the prayers of the righteous. Better is a small gain with the truth than a large gain with a lie. Let the heart of a man think about what is right, so that his steps may be straightened by God.
The eye that sees good gladdens the heart, and good news strengthens the bones. He who is attentive to the revelations of life will dwell among the wise. He who rejects instruction hates himself, but he who is attentive to reproof loves his soul. The fear of the Lord is instruction and wisdom, and the beginning of glory will correspond to it, and glory will walk before the humble. The assumption of the heart belongs to man, but the answer of the tongue belongs to the Lord. As great as you are, humble yourself, and you will find grace from the Lord God. All the deeds of the humble are open before God, and the Lord strengthens the spirit. Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your thoughts will be established. The Lord accomplished everything with Himself, but the wicked will perish in the day of disaster. Anyone who is proud in heart is unclean before the Lord, and he who vouches illegally will not go unpunished. The beginning of a good path is to do the truth; This is more pleasing to God than making sacrifices. He who seeks the Lord will find knowledge with truth. Those who truly seek Him will find peace. All the works of the Lord are true, but the wicked will be preserved for the day of disaster.
