Reading the prophecies of Isaiah. [Isa.25:1-9]
Lord my God, I will glorify You, I will sing Your name, for You have done wonderful things, the ancient true counsel: let it be, Lord. For Thou hast laid down the cities in the dust, the solid cities, before their foundations fall, let the city of the wicked not be built forever. For this reason, poor people will bless You, and the people who are offended will bless You. For you were a helper to every humble city, and to those who were weak because of the lack of protection, you delivered them from evil people: the protection of the thirsty, and the spirit of the offended. Like cowardly, thirsty people in Zion, as if you had delivered them from the wicked people whom you betrayed us to. And the Lord of hosts will do with all their tongues: on this mountain they will drink joy, they will drink wine. They will be anointed with myrrh on this mountain: give this to all with a tongue: for that is the advice of all tongues. Devour the death that is possible, and again the Lord God will take away every tear from every face: the reproach of people will be taken away from the whole earth, for the mouth of the Lord speaks [this].
And on that day they say: Behold, our God is the One who trusts and will save us: This is the Lord who suffered Him, and we rejoiced and rejoiced in our salvation.
Reading the prophecy of Isaiah [25:1–9]
Lord my God, I will glorify You, I will sing Your name, because You have done wonderful things. The definition is ancient, true! Let it be, Lord! Because You turned the cities, the solid cities, to dust, so that their foundations fell. May the city of the wicked never be restored! Therefore, poor people will bless You, and the cities of offended people who fear You will bless You, for You were a helper to every humble city, and a covering to those exhausted from poverty. You will deliver them from evil people, because You are a cover for the thirsty and a breath for the offended people. Those who thirst in Zion are like faint-hearted people, but You will deliver them from the wicked people to whom You have delivered us. The heat before the storm will bring down the branch of the mighty, and the Lord of hosts will prepare for all the nations on this mountain a drink of enchantment, a drink of new wine: they will drink joy, they will drink wine, they will be anointed with myrrh, and they will be handed over on this mountain for teaching and they will be consumed on this mountain. Pass all this on to the nations, for this definition applies to every nation.
Death overcame and swallowed up, and again God wiped away every tear from every face, took away the reproach of His people from all the earth, for the mouth of the Lord spoke it. And they will say on that day: “This is our God! We have put our trust in Him, let us rejoice and rejoice in our salvation.”
Prokeimenon (Psalm 66), tone 6: Blessed be, O God, our God,/ Blessed be, O God.
Verse: God, be merciful to us and bless us, enlighten your face on us and have mercy on us.
Prokeimenon (Psalm 66), tone 6: Bless us, O God, our God, Bless us, O God!
Verse: God, have mercy on us and bless us! Show Your face to us and have mercy on us!
