The Almighty and Life-giving Holy Trinity, and the source of light, even every peaceful and worldly creature, for one goodness from those who do not exist, brought, and provided, and contained: likewise, according to Your other ineffable blessings about the earthly race, and granted us repentance for the sake of carnal infirmity until death! Do not leave us, accursed in our evil deeds, to die, and to be beneath the evildoer and the envious and the destroyer. See, O Merciful One, how much is there slander and enmity against us, as much as our passion is weakness and negligence. But do Thy infinite goodness upon us, we pray, every day and hour that angers Thee, make honest and life-giving commandments a crime. And all the sins that we have sinned in our deeds, or in words, or in thoughts, until now, in our deeds, or in words, or in thoughts, forsake and fast. Vouchsafe us the rest of our lives to end our lives in repentance and tenderness and observance of Your holy commandments.

If, having been seduced by sweetness, having sinned in many ways, or by vile lusts, unhelpful and harmful, having been seduced by the sender; if, moved by anger and speechless rage, whom we have insulted; if we have embraced the tongue of the inevitable and obstinate and strong nets; involuntarily, knowingly or unknowingly, from admiration or teaching we crawl madly: if evil thoughts and vain desecrate the conscience: if we have sinned in any other way, undertakings and customs we have suffered evil: forgive us and leave everything, O All-Bountiful, All-Merciful and Much-Merciful One, and grant us other courage and the power to do Thy good and is pleasing and perfect: let the nightly and dark evil be reduced by light-like repentance, and as we walk gracefully in the days, and being purified, let us declare ourselves unworthy of Thy love for mankind, praising Thee and magnifying forever.
