About the sacred duo, the beautiful brothers, the virtuous passion-bearers Booris and Gleb, who from their youth served Christ with faith, purity and love, and who were adorned with yours like crimson, and now reign with Christ! Do not awaken us who are on earth, but, as a warm intercessor, have mercy on us through your strong intercession before Christ our God: preserve the young ones in holy faith and purity, unharmed from every excuse of unbelief and impurity, and save and tame all of us who pray from all sorrow, embitterment and sudden death. and all enmity and malice raised up by the action of the devil from neighbors and strangers. We pray to you, Christ-loving passion-bearers, assist our blessed sovereign, Emperor Nikolai Alexandrovich in victory over his enemies, ask the great-gifted Master for all of us to forgive our sins, unanimity and health, deliverance from the invasion of foreigners, internecine warfare, plagues and famine. Provide your intercession to this city [or this whole, or this holy monastery] and all who honor your holy memory, forever and ever.
