Remember, O Lord our God, in faith and hope the life of your eternal departed servant (your departed servant, your departed servants) (their names), and as you are good and a lover of mankind, let go sins, and consume unrighteousness, weaken, leave, and forgive all his (her) voluntary and involuntary sins, restoring him (her) to Your holy second coming in the communion of Your eternal blessings, for whose sake there is only one faith in You, the true God and lover of mankind; for Thou art the resurrection and life, and rest unto Thy servant (Thy servant, Thy servant) (their names), Christ our God, and to Thee we ascribe glory, with Thy beginningless Father, and with By the Most Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto ages of ages, amen.

I am Yours, save me: as I justify Your demands.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Lest I wait for a sinner to destroy me, I understand Your testimonies. We have seen the end of every death; broad is Your commandment. Since I have loved Your law, O Lord, I have my teaching all day long. Moreover, my enemy has made me wise according to Your commandment, even as I am in my age. Above all those who taught me, I understood that Your testimonies are my teaching. Moreover, the old man understood that Your commandments were required. I have forbidden my feet from every evil way, that I may keep Your words. I have not deviated from Your judgments, as You have laid down for me. How sweet is Your word to my throat, more than honey to my lips. I understood from Your commandments, therefore I hated every way of unrighteousness. The lamp of my feet is Your law, and the light of my paths. I swore and vowed to preserve the fate of Your righteousness. I have humbled myself to the utmost, Lord, live according to Your word.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Be pleased with the freedom of my lips, O Lord, and teach me Thy destinies. I will take my soul into Your hand, and I will not forget Your law. I have laid a net for sinners, and I will not go astray from Your commandments. I will inherit Your testimonies forever, for the joy of my heart is. I bow my heart to create Your justifications forever for reward. I hated the lawbreakers, but I loved Your law. You are my Helper and My Protector, I trust in Your words.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Depart from me, you wicked ones, and I will test the commandments of my God. Intercede for me according to Your word, and I will live, and do not put me to shame because of my desire. Help me, and I will be saved, and I will learn from Your justifications. Thou hast brought to naught all who turn away from Thy justifications, for their thoughts are unrighteous. All the sinners of the earth have transgressed, for this reason I have loved Thy testimonies. Nail Thy fear into my flesh, for I am afraid of Thy judgments. I have created justice and righteousness; do not betray me to those who offend me.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Consider Your servant for good, so that the pride does not slander me. My eyes disappear for Thy salvation and for the word of Thy righteousness. Do unto Thy servant according to Thy mercy, and teach me Thy righteousness. I am Thy servant: give me understanding, and let me know Thy testimonies. It is time for the Lord to do: I have destroyed Your law. Therefore, for the sake of those who love Thy commandments, they are worth more than gold and topaz. For this reason I have been guided to all Your commandments; I have hated every way of unrighteousness. Wonderful is Your testimony, for this reason I have tried my soul. The manifestation of Your words enlightens and admonishes little children. My mouth was opened, and I drew the spirit, as I desired Thy commandments.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Look upon me and have mercy on me, according to the judgment of those who love Your name.

Direct my steps according to Your word, and let not all iniquity possess me. Deliver me from the slander of men, and I will keep Your commandments. Make Thy face shine upon Thy servant, and teach me by Thy justification. My eyes know the coming of the waters, but I have not kept Your law. Thou art righteous, O Lord, and Thy judges are right. Thou hast commanded the truth of Thy testimony and the truth. Thy jealousy has consumed me, for I have forgotten Thy words against mine. Your word is kindled with great heat, and Your servant loves it. I am the youngest and humbled, I have not forgotten Your justifications.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and your law is truth. Having found me through sorrow and need, Your commandments are my teaching. The truth of Your testimony endures forever; give me understanding, and I will live. I cried with all my heart, hear me, O Lord, I will seek your righteousness. I called upon You, save me, and I will keep Your testimonies. I went ahead in hopelessness and cried out, trusting in Your words. Prepare my eyes for the morning, that I may learn Your words. Hear my voice, Lord, according to Your mercy: live for me according to Your destiny. Those who persecute me with lawlessness have drawn near, but have departed from Your law. You are near, Lord, and all your ways are true. From the beginning I knew from Your testimonies that I founded You in the age. See my humility and forgive me, for I have not forgotten Your law.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

Judge my judgment and deliver me, for Thy word let me live. Salvation is far from the sinner, for I have not sought Your justifications. Your bounty is many, Lord, live for me according to your destiny. The many who drove me out and besieged me, did not turn away from Your testimonies. I have seen those who do not understand and have ceased to keep Your words. See, as I have loved Your commandments, O Lord, live me according to Your mercy. The beginning of Your words is truth, and the whole destiny of Your righteousness endures forever. The princes have driven me into oblivion, and my heart has feared because of Your words. I will rejoice in Your words, for I have gained much gain. I have hated and detested injustice, but I have loved Your law.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

During the seventh day we praise You about the destinies of Your righteousness. There is peace for many who love Your law, and there is no temptation for them. I have longed for Your salvation, O Lord, and I have loved Your commandments. Preserve your testimonies, my soul, and love you dearly. I will keep Your commandments and Your testimonies, for all my ways are before You, Lord. May my prayer come near before You, O Lord, according to Your word, make me understand. May my petition come before You, O Lord; deliver me according to Your word.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).

My lips will burst forth with song, when Thou teachest me by Thy righteousness. My tongue proclaims Your words, for all Your commandments are true. Let Thy hand be to save me, as Thy commandments are willful. I have desired Your salvation, O Lord, and Your law is my teaching.

Then we sing or read the following verses with chorus three times:

My soul will live and praise You, and Your fate will help me

I have gone astray, like a lost sheep: seek thy servant, for I have not forgotten thy commandments.

Chorus: Rest, O Lord, the soul of Thy servant (the soul of Thy servant, Thy handmaid).
